An early night birthday celebration with six dining- we were seated in a spacious private room and service was friendly and informed if a bit slow for an uncrowded night. We enjoyed all the dishes tastes and
Food quality but all were served NOT Hot. Pictured are Beef Bouguignon, Halibut Buerre Blanc and a grilled banger steak. This was on the expensive side and probably worth the $$$, but serving
Luke warm food was a definite downer.

Finally checked out this euro vibes wine bar that was recommended to me, and I wasn’t disappointed at all! The food was great, and the service from our bartender Yannick was top-tier (this guy deserves a raise!). Plus, he whipped up some really tasty cocktails for me. It’s a bit of an investment, but definitely a good spot for a fun night out every now and then.

We had a ‘good’ dinner there tonight. First woman who greeted us was amazing. Our server was good. She didn’t forget anything but was very overwhelmed. She didn’t try to show it, but was easy to tell. I came to get the schnitzel, my husband came and wanted the short ribs. They were out of both and one other dinner option. So we ordered the burrata to start. It was beautiful and delicious. We had to start over though with the 9 things on the menu for dinner and they were out of 3 items. Husband ended up ordering a steak and I had the bolognese. They were both good not great, and when they served my husband the steak the guy who handed us his meal said “sorry, we’re out of steak knives”. By the time we got a knife the steak was almost gone (using a butter knife to cut), but the steak was not near tender enough to cut with a butter knife. It was a bit frustrating. Honestly I think I’m being generous with the review, I was just happy to be out tonight and the atmosphere was quiet. I loved that.

ABSOLUTELY loved our experience there. We found this as we walked around the area and this was a wonderful place and experience. The waitress was top notch with her service and suggestions. We walked out of Hickory and Ash due to horrible customer service and went here. The universe was telling us that we needed to come to VINCA to have a great night. The duck was perfect and her drink suggestions were completely on point. I would recommend VINCA to anyone.

My husband’s serving of orzo with our two orders of pan-seared duck was vastly different from mine. He got a larger serving of orzo and more
greens mixed in. The duck was rather dry as well. I just really expected better. I didn’t enjoy this food at all. So disappointing for our only night out in the last year. The charcuterie plate was the only half acceptable part of the evening. When my meal was delivered, the server said they would deliver my glass of wine and it never arrived. She stood at the bar oblivious. It was just not worth going out to this place at all. It was really sad and disappointing.

From the minute we arrived, we felt this nice European and chill atmosphere. A beautiful bar inside and a cute patio with a a good number a table outside. A nice red nappe on each table. A really nice and cultured staff. Spritz St-germain cocktail was like back in France. Delicious meal, perfect synergy of size, texture, not heavy. All of that for an affordable dinner. The only little point is maybe to put the music a little bit louder but W’ll be back!

From the moment you walk in, the inviting experience begins. I picked this place blindly for a group of friends and luckily it was an absolute hit! The drinks were delicious and vast. We started with the mussels and burrata. The mussels had great flavor and appeal. The texture of the mussels was just right. Perfectly prepared for someone who has never tried mussels and all! Burrata is always a favorite to try. My fennel & blood orange salad was fresh and interesting. It was the right size as to not completely fill you up. It was a fantasy of flavors. My entree was superb. I had the Scallops with the mushroom risotto. They import the risotto from Germany and prepare it in the kitchen. It came with 2 scallops which seemed like a small amount, but the quality and presentation was there. It turned into a hearty dish when you add the risotto. Grandma’s Apple Strudel rounded out the night. Of course I was the only one to get dessert and when it arrived everyone was jealous. Get your own as the serving size is not really sharable unless you wanna just give up one bite. Although my friend ordered the espresso martini and that was a smooth sip. Wait staff were so nice and attentive. I can’t wait to come back again. Thank you for a wonderful evening !

The French onion was good, but a little small for $17.
The duck was a bit undercooked and was also a pretty small portion. The vegetables were slightly undercooked as well. Arugula was bitter and didn’t really go with the orzo. Left hungry and disappointed.
Negroni was good.
