We were visiting Annapolis for the weekend and stumbled across Vin 909–what a lucky find! The place sits in a cute old house on Bay Ridge Ave, and right away it had that welcoming, cozy vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. The staff was super friendly and made us feel right at home from the start.

We kicked things off with the chef’s selection charcuterie board, and honestly, it exceeded our expectations. The mix of meats, cheeses, and little extras was spot on–everything tasted really fresh and thoughtfully paired. For the price, it was a great value and the perfect start to the meal.

For pizza, we went with the Spotted Pig and the Chef Moore, and both were incredible. The crust had that perfect wood-fired crispness, and the toppings were full of flavor without being over the top. You can tell they really care about quality and creativity here.

Between the food, the laid-back atmosphere, and the genuinely great service, Vin 909 totally lived up to all the amazing reviews we’d seen online. We’re already talking about coming back the next time we’re in Annapolis. If you’re anywhere near the area, this spot is a must!

What a great find! The service was amazing. They were filling our glasses and taking out plates the second that it was needed . The food comes out as soon as it’s done so it’s fresh the second it hits your table. Our food was delicious. The burrata was so fresh and packed with flavor! I can’t wait to come back and try more.

We waited an hour and 15 minutes for a table here in a random Tuesday night… and it was so worth it. I’ve been told many times to visit this quaint restaurant and I can now see why. We had the most wonderful server, I didn’t catch her name but truly she made our experience so so wonderful. The food was all delicious. Everything was reasonably priced as well… our table of 4 ended up with a bill under $200 and we had everything we wanted. Also clearly red wine is the way to go here, as every table was drinking red wine including ours. Next time I’ll ask for my pizza to be slightly more cooked since i like a bit more crispy crust but I wait to come back.

Let me just say this was THE SPOT, at 5pm sharp there was a line and people excited to sit down for wine and dine.

I’ve never seen so many people at the door waiting for them to open.

The staff was kind and efficient in getting everyone seated and served.

Food was delicious, especially the pizza and desserts and the rose wine by the bottle was five stars.

Parking onsite and out front on the street as well, but plan accordingly because it is popular and in demand.

Indoor and outdoor seating and a fun bar wrap around as well. Great spot and experience.

One of my favorite places to dine in annapolis. The food is always amazing. The servers are always so friendly. Yes you need to wait for a table but this is a place where waiting is definitely worth your time. Plus they usually tell you that you’ll need more time than you really need. Pizzas are fantastic but you have to try the Moroccan steak

I knew this place was going to be good but I wasn’t prepared for just HOW good it would be. The ingredients and food were very thoughtfully crafted and were high quality. It was all so fresh and this is some of the best pizza we’ve had in a very long time. I wish we lived closer so we could come more often, but next time I’m in Annapolis I will definitely be back!

Also, I really loved the gorgeous garden out front!

The sauce from the steak went very well with the sandwiches. Eating the steak with the bread was also very decent. We also had a pizza which was good. The place is small but clean and cozy. We went for lunch and spent about 50+ bucks so that’s a downside.

Exceptional, unique pizza with insanely thin almost crunchy crust in the best way. Unique flavor options that all sounded divine. We loved what we tried! And the salad with prosciutto was a great starter. Extremely cute back patio with nice servers as well! A must hit in Annapolis!

Cozy place where fine (yet casual) dining shines. Our starter was a creamy mozzarella over homemade pesto with fresh bread (pic). So tasty, big recommend.
Next I had the clams which were served like a bowl of mussels. Clams were great, broth was delicious. Started dipping my wife’s pizza slices in there after I ran out of bread.
Wife’s Margarita pizza was perfect and tasty.
Chocolate mousse and apple pie turnover thing were also as delicious as they look in the pics.
Definitely coming back here the next time we hit Annapolis.

Very cool place. Worth getting a bottle of wine and waiting outside in the nice outside waiting area for your table to be ready. The pizza is a must.
