Came here today with a friend planning to order nachos ($12.49). I had $11 on one card and $5 on another, which is pretty normal. The owner immediately said he “can’t split payments” and walked away without explaining or trying to help.

This wasn’t my first off experience here either—last time I ordered, the attitude was already there, but I brushed it off. Today just confirmed it. The register is clearly modern, so the refusal felt more like unwillingness than inability.

What bothered me most was the lack of basic respect. He seemed uninterested, rushed me off, and said he had other orders to deal with without addressing me properly. Meanwhile, I watched him treat other customers just fine.

I didn’t even end up eating here because of how uncomfortable the interaction was. Owning a business doesn’t excuse dismissive behavior. If customer service matters to you, I’d recommend BFF next door or literally anywhere else in the food court.

Today I went & took my clients with disabilities to Grossmomt Ctr do to weather. Everything was great and all. My Coworker went & bought a burrito for one of our clients and some sopes for her to take since it was gonna be a longer day at work. I noticed more than 15 minutes had passed,my Coworker was aware waiting for the order, until I decided to go & ask if the burrito was ready. The only person I saw was a man,I asked and said hi we ordered a burrito just wondering if it was ready, and he immediately answered mean loud tone its because theres lots of orders. He didnt even look at me,I said to him since I didnt see anyone that is why im asking,he kept talking back and thats when I asked what did i do wrong I just asked you a question. He immediately answered “You act like tijuana people” while he did all this movement ,cleaning,he gave a dirty look and said do you have ur receipt because you were not the one who ordered im not gonna give it to you he said etc etc. I was in shockwhen he mentioned tijuana people. My coworker came to were I was and he gave it to her,the burrito was ready all this time, what was his problem. I was speechless but mad! What was all that attitude and talking about tj ppl. I know alot of ppl from tj & this made me soo mad. I went back to my clients & returned to talk to him, managed to take a pic and video,he immediately said Im gonna report it to your company, seriously over me asking for the burrito after more tham 15 minutes waiting. When he saw me recording he tried hidind and said he was gonna get security,I said go ahead im not hiding you do what you need to do. He was the one emberrasing me,peopl sitting infront of his restaurant were watching. Sadly no one stood up & said something. So I go back to my cloemts & one my clients wanted to use the restroom ,so I took her, whem I came out there was 2 securities waiting for me! I went outside and explained to her. Im here with people who require attention and therws this guy making it hard for me,acting like his the victim. The security mentioned that this is not the first time therws has been other complaints with this man & guess what he is the “OWNER”. I couldnt believe what i had heard,is this how he treats his clients, and over one simple question. Not even a Hi,cero great customer service. Security was nice. I went back to my clients & told my coworker to get her momey back for the sopes she ordered because she didnt seem happy. She went and told him that if he didnt like his job to leave ,and that I was just asking a simple question..among other stuff and not in a rude way. He didnt want to give her her money back because they were ready & walked away ignoring her. She threw away the sopes, didnt trust him a bit. I understan life gets in the way,& maybe service is low but why make it worse. Now he lost clients over his errogant, disrespectful mouth. He seems very angry at the world. I wish others would speak up..him talking about his own people was wrong. Im very proud of being Mexican & absolutely dont judge! I even told my supervisor what happend,i dont have nothing to hide! Think before you open your mouth and how this can affect your business, smile treat everyone with respect sir. And everything was im spanish talking! I would give this 0 star but luckily 1 has to be added. Shame on you! Fuistes muy grosero y si nadie me cree enseña la camara

I come here all the time and order a breakfast burrito. I get the potatoes, eggs, and cheese. Classic breakfast with the large Mexican coke in a glass! My favorite. I come here so often the owner Omar already knows my order, just “the usual?” It’s an awesome experience. Burrito itself is always really good. Cooked well. Toasty. Omar gets a lot of business for usually always being there working alone and still pushes out orders relatively quick. I recommend this spot to anyone looking for Mexican

Looks can be deceiving. Looks like every taco shop in San Diego. Most taco shops are basically good with some being better than others. This one however has little good about it.

The cost: average cost for a taco shop so that’s good for a food court.

The food: Carne asada fries- cold, undercooked fries. The meat was actually really, really good though and the portion was huge.

Service: the cook is overworked and took 15+ minutes for the order and it was undercooked. He seemed bothered answering questions of how much longer.

Located inside the Grossmont Mall food court. On this particular day, all three vegan eateries were closed that I wanted to try. So we went for Mexican at Villas.

My boyfriend likes regular ground beef tacos and surprisingly not many places offer that except for like, Taco Bell. Meanwhile, I love flautas and very few places offer that. I alway joked, only authentic places offer flautas.

Well, Villas made us both happy when they offer both! Got chicken flautas and it came with 2 giant roll size. Topped with cheese and sour cream, lettuce, and guacamole on the side. The outer shell was deep fried to perfect that’s crispy and crunchy with every bite.

The ground beef tacos came with 2 loaded tacos in a hard shell with lettuce, cheese, tomatoes with a side of beans and rice. We also got one fish taco and the batter and seasoning was very flavorful.

I was very impressed with this small mall eatery, it was more than a fast food joint. They took their time with our order and felt legit.

They also have taco Tuesday for $1.49 each! Potato roll tacos, surf and turf burrito, and variety of other dishes.

I’m sorry but this burrito is not cutting it! First time trying Mexican food in San Diego and I don’t think I ever will again. They didn’t put rice in burrito. So essentially I’m eating a bean burrito. Very disappointed

Been here twice so far and the food is amazing, consistent, and fast. Their hot sauces are spicy and delicious. Get a Carnita torta. You won’t be sad, but you might be hooked.
