It is the first time in long time ago that I fell 100% satisfied in a restaurant. From the beginning everything was perfect.
My wife and me hit here for her birthday. Table on time, the waitress showed perfect knowledge about the whole menu. Looks so professional and clean. The food was perfect, the portions huge and the prices according . I definitely coming back.

Ate here for my birthday and was thoroughly impressed. Authentic Italian cuisine and wonderful atmosphere. Our waiter Jusuf was fantastic. Very polite, speedy service, and overall a wonderful experience. I cannot say enough. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a great meal!

Had a reservation on a busy night, could be a good idea. Place looks mundane from the street but it’s lovely inside. Excellent service was provided. We enjoyed an appetizer, bread and savory olive oil, and pasta dishes, plus a steak special. Dinners come with a tasty salad and the meals were all delicious. Generous portions. Prices are reasonable, and they offer a quality wine list and adult beverages. They offer desserts and we enjoyed the creme brulee and chocolate fudge cake. A lovely evening.

We were a large party seating after another large party, and this slightly delayed our seating time, but after that everything was phenomenal across the table and through the courses. There was one minor exception that is barely worth mentioning. One of the three cream brule desserts was not on par, but that was the only negative that could be said throughout the evening. Apps, soups, salads, meals, drinks and desert 9.5/10. It was a little loud during the prime dining hours, but that is tough to control, maybe adding some soft dacor or sound deadening panels would help. Overall fantastic experience!

We went here Sunday 2/15 and it was soooo good! They had heart shaped lobster raviolis for valentines days and I hav never had better raviolis. I got the sausage fettuccine and my husband got the linguine fresh seafood pasta. It was absolutely amazing, piping hot and will absolutely be back for more. We got espresso gelato and tiramisu for dessert even we couldn’t move we were so full but still managed to scarf most of it done because it was that good

The Villaggio Ristorante was probably one of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to. The place was packed but it only took us 15min to be seated for our renovation. The atmosphere was intimate, romantic. The wait staff was fabulous. The waiter could recite the extensive specials right off the top of his head! He was awesome. He was so attentive, friendly!
Our meals we totally out of this world. I had the filet with lobster ravioli and my wife had the lasagna. Both were the best we’ve ever eaten. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant and will definitely be going back!

Date night, ladies night, enjoy a meal alone. This is the perfect spot.

Food is amazing. They offer a great variety and if you are not a big Italian food fan but tagging along with friends don’t worry they have a rib eye on the menu along with chicken tenders.

Seafood dishes are my go to!

Don’t let the curb appeal (or lack there of) keep you away. Well worth the visit.

The food was absolutely amazing. Will def come back. We were sat immediately. Didn’t need a reservation. But we went around 4 and then it got busier. So a reservation would be wise.

Lobster Ravioli to Go – No Bread 🙁
We are loyal customers and not always able to dine in. We gladly spent $54 alone for two orders of Lobster Ravs. Our total bill was over $100. The Lobster Rav is absolutely amazing and our favorite dish by far. I have one complaint: No Bread. The dish doesn’t come with bread unless you dine-in. In the past 2 years we have repeatedly been told, “Sorry, bread is reserved for table service.” An Italian dish with all that sauce and no bread to soak it up, What a Travesty!!! Please, owners/managers research the philosophy, “Give ’em the pickle”. I would gladly forego the side salad to have bread with my Lobster Rav. Please reconsider this. I am not Italian, but Grazie, Grazie!!!

Great food, horrible service combined with FOH “manager”, recommend takeout to avoid having an experience like ours. Super disappointed.

More detail from my write up elsewhere… not one to complain…

My wife and I went in hoping for a little Boston North End vibe without leaving Manchester’s North End (live close by) on Valentine’s Day Eve with reservations (yes, Villaggio, you have my phone number).

The food: Mostly hit as we hoped! Chicken parm was great, marinara was excellent! The surprise was the bolognese on my partner’s spaghetti side, which was a bit bland, expected the opposite – both were still great to be clear. Chicken Caesar salad was on point as much as a salad can be. 😉

The service: This is the real issue. Only two of us, and about 5 seconds after giving my drink order (while my partner was still ordering her drink) and getting a initial look of disapproval when ordering water on the waitress’s first pass (wanted to look at the drink menu), I asked to swap the liquor in my Olde Fashion to something she mentioned under her breath when I first ordered it (took me a minute to process it). The waitress said it was “too late” with her handheld because it’s instantly sent to the bar. If that’s true, that’s a pretty bad system, efficiency be damned.

We were within earshot of many other tables – our waitress didn’t explain dishes or specials like we saw/heard other servers doing (left us feeling regretful with our food choices), and she tried to take my card before I even opened the bill… this is after telling us we had to wait 15 minutes for a second round of bread (haha, which showed up 35 minutes later – petty, but annoying). Things were bad enough with the waitress that we actually asked to box up our mains shortly after receiving them (ate less than 10% of either).

This was our second visit (first was takeout, which was great) and our first time dining in. Being in Customer Service and having a history in the restaurant industry, on the way out (after paying and tipping, aka not looking for a discount), I hesitated walking out the door and turned to ask for a manager. The front-of-house host said he’d speak as the manager and responded to everything with a sarcastic “that’s unfortunate” / “that’s our standards” / “that’s too bad” / and sent us on our way.

Not big complainers, hate doing it, but this one stuck with us, especially with the high praise and relatively premium prices this restaurant seemingly gets online — bad taste service-wise, great taste food-wise. Looking around, most of the customers are of an older demographic, and again, most of the waitstaff seemed awesome (especially compared to ours).

Would absolutely get the food again. However, as someone that lives on the North End of Elm St, I would never dine in again if this is what they consider acceptable service… what more can we do besides speak up about our concerns, after settling the tab… being told that’s “normal” is gross in my opinion. Working in restaurants in the past, if that’s their standard, then I distrust their entire approach to service.

Really disgusted with how the host / FoH attitude, along with our service.
