To begin with this place is absolutely awesome! The customer service is great and they very helpful as well as kind.
They had helped me out on choosing what to get and what to recommend. I ended up getting some dim sum and steamed dumplings.

Not what I was expecting, but very surprising!
Taiwanese cooking, not heavily battered, oily, or bland like most American Chinese faire.
The dumplings were super light, and were almost like soup dumplings. The sweet and sour pork was amazing, and unlike any I’ve ever tasted.

We have eaten & ordered from VW for many years. We are so sad to hear the previous owners have retired. We loved the original owners and enjoyed many of their offerings. Plus they delivered before Uber Eats existed. Anyway, I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken this week and it was just not fresh. It was too thick with way too much salt and veggieswere over cooked. Worse still, they have deleted all of the Mu Shu, my absolute favorite dish. Sad. I really hope to update this review later, in the hopes that the new owners are just having growing pains. We always give restaurants 3 chances to impress us, unless the food is inedible. Bring back Mu Shu please!

ITS SOOOO GOOD, I never had a Chinese food like this good. Like it’s real Chinese food, I’ve been trying so many Asian food but they all like American style Chinese food, but this YES ITS THE ONE. I’ve only been to China one time and I miss Chinese food, I’m tried to find the Chinese Chinese food but I can’t before I came to village wok! I highly recommend! Yall should try!

Village Wok has been a regular place for us over a decade now… friendly service and the food is always awesome! The lunch menu in particular is a great bargain and includes a few of our favorite dishes:. Potato Chicken, and General Tso’s Chicken!

Sorry this was Chinese I wish did not eat. The crackers tasted stale, the egg drop soup was dark, and honestly had a smell and taste of something other than food. Moving on to the entree, my rice again had the smell and taste — maybe they cooked the food in something that was bad. My wife had shrimp fried rice that was overloaded with teriyaki and onion. Sadly the local Mall foodcourt has much better food. The server told us she had been there for 18 years, very nice lady. So I debated about leaving a poor review. After a couple days I felt it was good to share, maybe other reviews will be better after this experience.

This is a great family-owned place. Don’t let the small size push you away – in my opinion, the small size allows the kind-hearted woman to pay more attention to the people sitting down for a meal. The food is AMAZING (she makes homemade dumplings…YUM) and it’s very reasonably priced. I had the General Tso’s Chicken, and my family had chicken dumplings. I will definitely be back next time I am in town!

Finally had beef noodles in the States. Authentic Taiwanese food. And the staff was truly kind With great atmosphere, quality service, and the absolute amazing dishes, highly recommend!
