I love a Garces restaurant and Village Whiskey is no exception. Always enjoy eating here as the drinks are strong and delicious (Rittenhouse Square is awesome!). Always love the duck fat fries and highly recommend. The All American smash burger with bacon jam and American cheese is so tasty and the blistered shishito peppers are excellent. The bourbon chocolate chess pie def has some booze! The only hitch in the evening is that our table for 10 was not ready when I arrived and the last couple they were waiting for really dawdled so we were seated 20-30 minutes late. Still recommend a smaller pairs are easier.

Very cool place and cozy vibe in dining room. Very highly rated wagyu burgers for a good reason. Wide range of whiskeys and made me my favorite The Godfather drink. Extensive menu beyond burgers and both friends and I loved our food.

My 3rd time here and the food is always yummy. I got a burger medium well, which other places either under or overcook. It was seasoned well and flavorful & the duck fat fries were delicious and crispy. My partner had the Bronzino which he was reluctant to order because it’s a “ whiskey bar “, but I assured him the chef and kitchen obviously know what they are doing. Our waitress was attentive and pleasant It’s a small space so you might need reservations on the weekend

Came here with friends for restaurant week. Food and drinks were delicious! It’s very narrow and hard to maneuver once inside. Will definitely be back when we’re in Philly again. Highly recommend making reservations.

One of the best burgers I’ve had in Philly! I loved that I could choose exactly what I wanted, like adding eggs and mushrooms. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. I definitely recommend this place, and don’t forget to try the chips… they’re so good!

It’s has a decent burger. I would hope to have it just a tad bigger Pattie not so much thicker just wider. It’s a fork and knife style burger. The egg was a great touch.

Food and drinks absolutely amazing. I went here because it was highly recommended by a friend and she wasnt wrong. I got drinks, appetizers and an entree with the duck fat fries with cheese sauce. Everything was phenomenal. I will definitely be adding this restaurant to my roster.

A favorite for the last decade. Anytime I visit Philadelphia, I come back. The village whiskey burger, fried pickles, and any signature cocktail I could order on repeat every single day. Highly recommend and delicious.

I was laying over in Philly for 8 hours and randomly bumped into this place while wandering around. Totally caught me off guard with the vibing interior and the welcoming hospitality of servers. Ordered the classic old fashioned and some food to go with it – was so satisfied with the quality and had to order another drink in the end. I will always stop by here when I visit Philly in future.

Came here on a Saturday midday, they have happy hour on weekends from 4-6 which is a nice surprise. I still ordered from the main menu because I wanted the burger combo, I got the village burger, fried pickles and duck fat fries. I honestly thought the portions would be smaller so I was surprised and impressed by the large sides. The fried sides were awesome, their pickles very crispy and large slices which I enjoyed. The burger was good and really fat, only issue was the bread that got soggy quickly due to the burger grease. The cocktails looked good, I only tried the love letter to linvilla because it was so good I didn’t need to try anything different. The strawberry tastes fresh and goes well with the gin and citrus. Bartenders were cool, one said it was their first week and I wouldn’t have been able to tell otherwise
