Found this place by Google search.. Cane to eat late (9:30pm on a Friday night). Bar was busy. Fair amount of tables w/seating. Didn’t have to wait to be seated. Waiter was friendly and enthusiastic. French onion was is FANTASTIC! Highly recommend! Chicken tenders also FANTASTIC! All u can eat fried cod was good, quite a bit of batter on it (a bit too much for me) but the cod was good. I loved the hushpuppies! Buffalo chicken wrap was good. Reasonable prices. Good portions. Only negative was that it was loud and difficult to hear at our table… but again, we were eating later on a Friday night.

The Christmas lights are beautiful in this place. The food is fantastic as well ! Everything we have had ! The chicken fingers but the honey mustard that comes with them steaks the show. Steak wrap was incredible best stew you’ll ever have and the buffalo chicken wrap was great as well !

This is the famous Corned Beef Sandwich. Ordered to go, found a sliced turkey joke of a $18 sandwich, that is not even on the menu. This could make someone with a poultry allergy very sick. Management failed to respond to my inquiries, so you get a bad review. The picture says it all.

12/16/25 We were back and really enjoyed our server Danny again. Half price wine on Tuesday and Wednesday is really nice. But, once again the white wine was warm. Danny did put it in a bucket of ice to try and chill it. Soup was good and she really liked the Cuban sandwich. I had their supposedly famous chicken fingers. A LOT of thick soggy batter! And, I don’t care for their special sauce. Bonus, 25% off today for customer appreciation. Still not willing to add another star though.

After the last three visits I decided to let everyone know. It is very hit or miss. Today, twice as much thick awful batter than actual fish. And WARM white bottle of wine! Two visits back about a month ago refrigerated red wine! Portion sizes of food seem to change. I’m not normal a soup guy especially in the summer, but the soup was really good each time. The place is usually loud from music, TV, drunks at the bar and people trying to talk over all of that! Inside is ALL brick and wood nothing to absorb all the racket. So, good luck and decide for yourself.

Had the world famous chicken fingers . They were really good. The mustard sauce was great. French onion soup was kick ass. Service was friendly and awesome. All 3 of us enjoyed this place. Would definitely stop again

ALWAYS good! I have been going to Village for decades now and always get a giant plate of Nachos which are quite enough to share with several people. I also always get three chicken fingers to take home to my little dog. She loves them.
The waiter this last time, I don’t remember his name now, told me to order them well done to preserve the crispiness when they are take out. He was right!
Village always gets 5 stars from me!

My friends and I dined here after a movie last night, and the service was exceptional. Our server Maya (I’m sorry if I don’t have the right spelling) was wonderful. She knew the menu inside out, was very pleasant and funny, very on the ball. I’m a seasoned therapist, so trust me when I say her interpersonal skills are great. Several team members dropped by at different times to see if we needed drink refills or anything. The menu offers a robust selection of gourmand favorites, and the food was quite satisfying. This is a solid choice for casual dining. And again, Maya knocked it out of the park.

First time eating here and I was so excited to try the chicken strips because my husband had them before. He loved his ate all of his, but mine were not as crispy as the other pictures had shown. I don’t know if I got a bad batch, but they were soggy and some of the chicken was not very good. I know this could happen everywhere but it’s a turn off when chicken has bad pieces on it. Customer service was great and the soup of the day was amazing!

Their famous chicken fingers are delicious very large and generous portions. I had sweet potato fries and they were delicious too. I think they had a little bit of sugar on them. Very flavorful.

The food was amazing! My partner and I went for my birthday. We shared an appetizer and both got the tenders. Food was hot and delicious. Server was not super present, had to ask for refills and to order, not a major problem as it was so packed with an hour and a half wait. Hard to hear but you could tell everyone was laughing and having a great time!
