Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. We had the meatballs as an appetizer and they were very tasty, but somewhat cold.
We ordered chicken marsala and meatloaf for our main courses. Both were terrible. The meatloaf was charred black and near inedible. The chicken marsala was coated with garlic and absolutely inedible. We had one bite of the marsala each and couldn’t stomach another bite.
The server did not think twice about removing two uneaten entrees from our table and bringing us the check.
Very nice restaurant with a large menu. It was very quiet on a Sunday night.
We both chose burgers, my wife ordered the ONION MUSHROOM CHEESE BURGER with sautéed onions, mushrooms, mozzarella, lettuce, and tomato. I got the COWBOY BURGER with applewood-smoked bacon, caramelized onions, barbecue sauce, and Cheddar.
They come on a choice of bread and we chose the brioche, also a choice of sides, I got the French fries and my wife chose the sweet potato fries.
Good burgers
I felt it necessary to write this review as I am in complete disgust of what just transpired at the Boynton Beach location. More so, I am completely baffled and taken aback by how we were treated after returning with the food. My Campus President and I visited the location after placing an order online with “Melissa”. who was pretty awesome. Her customer service was great which prompted me to even leave her a tip, despite it being a pick-up order. After ordering two meals at $31 and tipping her $2, we left and headed back to the campus located across the street with our meals. My Director and I took our lunch in my closed in office. After taking 3-4 bites I notced something brown in my pasta. After carefully observing the plate we both concluded that it was a HUGE insect in my meal. ( I snapped a picture) and would like an email address to have this sent over. I immediately started vomiting as well as my campus president as she ordered the same meal, in which we assumed was mixed and made from the same pot. After she contacted the restaurant, Melissa advised that we should come in and speak to the manager. Upon our arrival, Melissa was truly apologetic and verbalized that as a manager/restaurant employee, this is by far one of the worst things that could possibly happen and that she is truly sorry. She motioned for us to have a seat and wait for the manager. Brittany the manager came out and was completely dismissive and rude. She approached the both of us very standoffish, never introduced herself and asked would you like another meal or do you just want a refund. I expressed to her in complete astonishment, I will never eat here again. And before I could complete my sentence, she said ok so you want a refund and walked away to begin the refund process. She was very rude and dismissive and could careless that we just found an insect in our food, much less cared that she just lost two great customers. Once she was done, she said you will see the credit on your account in 2 days. I had to ask her for her name as we left. After getting in the car, we had to pull over as I had to throw up again. After completing this comment, I will be heading to the Urgent Care as I continue to feel nauseous. I’m not sure if I’m more upset about finding the bug in my food, or Brittanys rude, unapologetic, dismissive manner. This is not stellar or spectacular service. This was just terrible. I’m sick to my stomach and in complete disgust of the situation. I expect a response as I think it’s important for you to see the picture. It’s also important to note that Melissa looked at the food and verbalized that she can tell it was cooked in with the pasta and not something that flew in. Which something flying in would be impossible as we exited the car, into our insect free office to eat.
