Everything was ok, but ok is not worth returning.
The bowl of crab soup was mostly vegetables with small pieces of crab. While it was tasty, more crab would have made it crab soup!
Minor issues included sticky table and salt shaker. Positive issues included amazing wait staff. Amber was amazing and the person who welcomed us was positively wonderful.
The Reuben sandwich was very greasy and the amount of pastrami was very small. I did enjoy the coleslaw.
The Smokey burger was just ok. The fries were greasy, floppy, and lukewarm.
One person had the crab melt and mentioned several large pieces of crab. She liked it.
Bottom line, ok food but won’t be back for round two.

This was my first time going there and I must say I was very happy with the service, food quality, price per meal. The manager and others made sure we were satisfied with the meal and was very attentive. The atmosphere was great and not too loud. It was comfortable and you could enjoy your dinner and conversation. The Reuben and fries I had was out of this world delicious. I will definitely be back.

This little diner was amazing! My mom lives in Hagerstown and it is worth the drive out here just to go to this place. It was my first time so I haven’t tried a ton from the menu but I can say, the fries, salmon BLT and the Ruben sandwich were fantastic. Plus, the staff was very friendly. Definitely coming back. Thank you Village Tavern!

Went there twice last week. Awesome breakfast omelets both times. Had Naomi one, but took off the green pepper and added italian sausage instead. Very very satisfying amd delicious. Coffee was terrific and we had carafes left at our table to help ourselves. The potatoes were real and seared. Terrific service and delicious food and a great building atmosphere. Definitely on my radar for every time I visit the area from now on.

I happened to be in the area, so I stopped in to try the French Onion Soup I had heard so much about. It did not disappoint … onion pieces & croutons floating in a rich broth, smothered in a thick layer of creamy cheese … it was amazing! And the shrimp salad half sandwich … there were so many shrimp they were tumbling out onto the plate with every bite. Great atmosphere & excellent service. Really nice local eatery.

The food was pretty good. Service was quick. Nothing too special though. We had the Reuben, crab burger, and haddock sandwich. And the dune fries for the app. Fries were good.
