Cozy, laid-back watering hole offering American eats like wings & burgers, plus craft brews on tap.

The crab Rangoon egg rolls are unbelievable! Great food. Ruben and burger were perfect. Outstanding service too. Quick refills. Food came out quickly. Wish there was a place like this closer to where I live. Very impressed

Just a great overall experience with fantastic food. Everything super fresh charcoal grilling outback was the first sign of something good ahead. Service staff was pleasant and attentive. Can’t wait to go back.

We stopped at Village Tavern on our way home from Buffalo after the wing festival, and it did not disappoint! The reviews about the wings were spot on—we tried four different flavors and even brought home a container of their Tavern sauce. The rest of the food was also delicious, and we finished off with their homemade key lime pie, which was absolutely amazing. The service was great, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I only wish we lived closer because I would definitely be a regular customer!

My sisters and I stopped here for lunch. It was game day for the Bills! The atmosphere was friendly and cheerful. Maybe a little rowdy – it’s the Bills!!!! Our server, Dylan, was just the nicest! He was attentive without being too much. He answered questions we had about different dishes and was helpful. The food was great! From the garlic parm wings to the French dip….just yummy!

I went to The Village Tavern, a place that, despite its name, has kale! I’m pretty sure I saw a kale leaf whisper to a shrimp in my power bowl that it was just a matter of time before they took over the world. The shrimp, bless its heart, just scuttled away in terror. The bowl was good, but I’m keeping my eyes peeled for any signs of a leafy-green uprising.

A very nice, small town “watering hole” that offers a great selection of drinks and some really good food!
I can see why the locals enjoy this place, as the staff was very friendly and quick with relevant recommendations. After a full day of hiking and driving, we were ready for a big dinner. The French Onion soup was very hearty and rich, with lots of cheese. I thought it was delicious, but a couple staying at the same BNB made comments the next morning that they did not… They clearly don’t know good soup!
We also ordered the Smoked Wings and thought they were pretty much the perfect wing. Big, juicy, tender, full of flavor. I’m sad that they are 4 hours away from home! After some discussion, decided to order the Antelope Burger with onion rings as an entree. The server said it was a lot of burger and he was correct – topped with grilled pineapple AND pulled pork . Ordered medium and it came medium rare but was the perfect medium by the second bite – impressive! I double dip my onion rings when I make them at home and prefer a really crunchy ring, but these were lacking in the crunch. Still a great side, just wish they were a little more substantial.
I wish I could remember the beer that I ordered, as I would recommend it. But I waited a little too long to write this review
I would highly recommend a stop if you’re in the area, or a quick detour if you’re not too far away!

The Village Tavern in Geneseo is excellent! Always a go to for lunch while in Geneseo, I had the ahi tuna nachos and the fajita bowl, and both were absolutely delicious. The tuna nachos were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared, and the fajita bowl was hearty, well-seasoned, and very satisfying.
The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was friendly and attentive, and everything came out quickly. It’s easy to see why this is such a popular local spot. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it!

This unassuming restaurant in Geneva offers an array of very good food. Our family has never had a bad meal there.
They craft excellent cocktails and have a great selection of tap brews. Their burgers are well above average, the salads are great, their appetizers (ask about the egg roll of the day) do not disappoint, they make a good steak, the entries were all good, too.
This last time we had a large party and there were no problems. It does well with the college kids and their parents and with locals.

Came here for dinner on a whim while visiting the area. The food was really good and we enjoyed our meal and our visit. It was raining when we came but they have nice outdoor seating as well.

Nice establishment with indoor/outdoor seating. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was incredible. He provided us with some recommendations, seemed to really enjoy his job and engage with his patrons. You must get the smoked wings with medium sauce!! Or hot sauce. I’m serious. As someone who’s from the wing capital, Buffalo, I have had my fairshare of wings, and these fell right in with some of my favorites. Get them! You’ll thank me later. We also had their special, a bison burger. Heavy on the shallots for me but still a well cooked burger. Don’t waste your time with the tater tots. They were not good.
Overall, I really enjoyed my time here and would visit again if we were in the area.
