Good comfort food. Enjoyed the steak and the burger. The beers were really good too. The wooden building and the interior looks great and creates a cozy atmosphere. Service staff was friendly and helpful and the food arrived at tge table fast, which was great. One minor thing I observed was the menu said the steak dish would be served with vegetables and I was expecting a mix of two or three but only got broccoli. It would have been nice to have carrots and peppers too to enhance the overall flavor of the dish. I recommend this place for a quick and enjoyable dining experience and plan to revisit.

We had a nice date night when we checked this place out. The log cabin atmosphere was very cozy. The food was great, especially the pie! We sat in the bar area that is bigger than most restaurants. The staff was very friendly and we will definitely be back.

Stopped in for lunch on our way through town. My husband had the prime rib open-faced sandwich which was delicious. The side salad was a bit wilted. I ordered the combo half sandwich and soup with pie. Priced very well at $15.50. The meatloaf sandwich was excellent and honestly, a full size would have been way too much for me. The creamy chicken soup however was lackluster with hardly any flavor. They were out of all berry pies so we chose the chocolate cream pie; itwas ok but had the texture of just too old chocolate pudding. Jessica, our waitress, took excellent care of us and was very attentive. The exterior and interior of the restaurant are beautiful though the bathrooms could use a cleaning and update. Overall, main dishes seem to be excellent but the additions/side plates could use some sprucing up.

The atmosphere in the huge log cabin is a great experience and the center area is the bar so even if you aren’t sitting in it you can see it and that’s where they play live music and most of the whole restaurant can see and of course hear. For a Saturday night not super busy. The service seemed attentive and all but was somewhat slow. I was very excited to try the food. We ordered the meatloaf dinner with garlic mash and veggies. Everything was lukewarm to cold besides the veggies that I assumed were freshly sautéd. Ordered the chili that was pretty great with the toppings and flavorful sour cream. Otherwise the chili it self was lacking spices and flavoring. Also ordered the jalapeño Mac and cheese. It wasn’t spicy at all. It was cold. It was very creamy and cheesey and noodles perfectly cooked. Just lacked flavor and spice being a jalapeño Mac and cheese. The side salads were great with the spring mix and croutons were delicious and ranch was thick for the dressing we chose. Also their sourdough garlic toast/hoagie bread was good. Maybe their sandwiches and fries are a better option or their breakfast but didn’t try and of those this time around.

Great breakfast! Our server was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and plentiful! I don’t usually order pancakes, but I tried the blueberry and was not disappointed! My daughter had the breakfast sandwich with crispy O’Brien potatoes. They were delish as well. They also have a full bar. Will definitely go back again!

Always good here! Home cooked food and it shows! Biscuits & Gravy are a classic and you can’t go wrong with and scramble or omelette!!

I can honestly say, I have never had a meat lovers omelet, hash browns, and toast ruined from a restaurant. These are probably the easiest things to prepare. The toast was soaked in butter, so it was like eating a sponge. The hash browns, were not fully browned, done but not a crunchy top like normal also soaked in grease. The icing on the cake, I cut into the omelet and grease poured out of it. The bacon inside it was hard and overcooked. Service was okay, the cooks forgot my granddaughters chicken strips and fries, which she hardly touched by her. We were done eating before we got it. Thought they should have taken it off the check just for the inconvenience. Used to eat there when we lived there and was great then, we were in town and wanted to have a good breakfast. Poor choice food went down hill considerably.

Our Server, Jessica, was great!
The restaurant is very large and constructed of wood.
Impressive…and imposing.
The Hostperson was friendly and welcoming.
The food is good ol’ U. S. American cuisine. We had a late breakfast and everything was prepared very well.
It’s a nice place and I recommend it.

If it was possible to leave 0 stars, that’s what I would rate my experience here. I opted for the chicken alfredo which was horrible. I could not even eat it. It looked like it was old and microwaved. The outside was hard and crusty and the inside was steaming, made no sense. Very gross. Pasta was also not fully cooked, it was hard and stuck together. We also ordered steak which was not prepared correctly and got us sick. Also, I have to mention the ice water was the worst water I’d ever had. It tasted as if I was being poisoned. Absolutely disgusting. I couldn’t even let my daughter drink it because I was afraid she would become ill from drinking it. It tasted sooo bad. We went there thinking it’d be a good experience considering the rating but we were very disappointed. And that’s just the food. The atmosphere was really gross too. I felt like existing in there was getting me dirty. I went to use the restroom and it was very dirty with visible toilet scrubbers full of feces and just dirtiness all around. After all was said and done we were left with an almost $100 tab. Very dumb for an awful experience. Basically paying 100 dollars for one of us to get a stomach ache and the other one of us unable to even eat the food because it looked and tasted old and inedible. The only good thing about the whole experience was that the building is kind of cool looking on the outside.

Usually I’m pretty happy with the food here but tonight I ordered off of their light appetite menu & ordered fish & chips with tarter. It came with a very small, maybe 1 heaping tablespoon sized, coleslaw side. Maybe it was garnish, don’t know. It was warm & I was hungry. I normally like my slaw cold unless it’s in a sandwich. The fries were delicious. The tarter had the look of sitting in fridge uncovered for a day. The fish… she asked if I wanted breaded or Panko. I opted for Panko. That was likely a mistake. The fish was overcooked. I was able to eat 1 but the second, no. It just wasn’t that good at all. The service, I wish I’d gotten her name, was excellent. (Dark haired gal working at 6pm in the front).
My son ordered a steak. It was cooked to perfection & tasted excellent. (He gave me a bite, so yummy). Over all, I’ll continue to eat here but won’t be ordering fish. I give 4 stars because while my meal wasn’t very good, my sons food was & the service was excellent.
