Dinner out on New Years Day with my husband. Be prepared to wait to be seated, even with a reservation. If there is room, you can wait at the bar, as we did. Bat tenders were excellent at their craft, and had great personalities as well. Once seated, we had excellent service. I had the pork chop dinner, which was phenomenal. Also the pear salad to start. Can not beat that flavor. We had bread plates, but no table bread was brought. My husband had the NY Strip, which he said was also amazing flavor. The sides were very fresh & flavorful as well. My only complaint is how close our seating was to the next table. I don’t mind being friendly, but there was no opportunity for a private conversation. Otherwise, it was an excellent experience. Patio seating is available in nice weather.

We ate here multiple times during our stay since it was on the same floor as our hotel room. The food was delicious. Breakfast prices are more affordable than dinner. Reservations are not necessary for breakfast, but recommend for dinner. Excellent service and nice atmosphere.

I’m so disappointed in what I thought would be a fantastic meal. The restaurant is nice, but needs some renovations. The feel is not what we expected for a Biltmore lodge restaurant. The service was outstanding.
The food… this was the first night of the new fall menu and we had high expectations …to meet the prices.
*Buffalo cauliflower – not much taste, cauliflower was over cooked and soggy (probably precooked) before fried in humongous sizes. Need a new technique or recipe.
*Cornbread – not cooked to order, not fresh tasting. Cut in four pieces and served in a mini cast iron, cast iron was warm – bread was cold. Recommend chef compare notes with Cedrick’s for hot cornbread.
*Meatloaf made with Biltmore beef $36. Extremely unremarkable with a gelatinous gravy that tasted like it came out of a jar. Recommend that the chef visit Veranda in Black Mountain when they feature their Meatloaf special.
*Trout $36 – again, bland and tasteless fish and veggies. Recommend chef visit the NOC’s River’s End restaurant for how fresh trout should taste when prepared correctly.
*Apple dessert – cinnamon sugar goo – not sure if there were apples in there.
So, my friend, if you want to eat a good meal on Biltmore estate, I would skip Village Social. Biltmore Estate is an institution with a reputation that commands excellence. So what happened here???
At almost $100pp this was a HUGE disappointment. Do not recommend and we will not be back to these tables.

Stopped for lunch at Village Social. The cornbread was good. The she crab bisque needed more crabmeat. The black bean burger and fries were okay. The fried pickles were interesting.

The breakfasts (included in our fare) were divine. Lots of variety on the menu and very savory. The gravy and biscuits was my favorite. The portion size is huge. There is a nice fireplace off to the side with seating area. Quite enjoyable.

Delicious meal with live music made for an awesome Friday night dinner. To start, we had the cheese plate with pickled veggies. We also had the summer arugula salad and it was so fresh, full of flavors! It had fresh fruit along with the greens and whipped goat cheese. For our main entree I had the meatloaf which was really good, but the cheddar potatoes were phenomenal. They were so flavorful and rich. The meatloaf had a blackberry BBQ sauce- maybe a hint too much for my liking, but was very tasty. My husband had the vegetarian risotto and added trout for a protein. It was flavorful and enjoyed. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here!

Village Social is a very cute and laid back setting in Biltmore Village. The olive app with cheese was good. The fried green tomatoes had a heavy batter coating so we did not prefer those – too much crust. The lamb was amazing And the shrimp and grits were delicious. Our waitress was awesome and attentive to our group of 8. She did a great job. It was a fun and festive dinner with the family. We would definitely eat here again on our next trip to Biltmore.

The waitress was very polite and friendly. The coffee came out hot and fresh! The eggs were cooked perfectly as well as the bacon.

I recently dined at The Village Social at Antler Hill, and it was such a wonderful experience. We enjoyed the hummus, tomato pie, and arugula salad, all of which were absolutely delicious. The flavors were fresh, and the dishes were well-balanced. We opted to sit outside, and the ambiance was perfect! A great way to enjoy the scenery while savoring a meal. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a delightful outdoor dining experience!

We HIGHLY recommend The Village Social!! We arrived in Asheville later in the evening and they were able to accommodate a 930 reservation. We got lost on the estate (it’s right next to The Bistro) and were about 10 minutes late. They were so kind and still allowed us in to dine. Our server was phenomenal and the food was spectacular!! We had grilled cheese, trout, pot roast, and shrimp and grits. Each of us LOVED our meal and left satisfied. We highly recommend and will definitely return!
