This is the best place on earth. Great prices, and the owner is SO nice and helpful. He gave us honest reviews of various menu items and great suggestions.

They have gluten free options!! Gluten free breakfast sandwiches made on a separate grill. I got a breakfast burrito without the wrap and he gave me a glutino English muffin on the side.

It’s the perfect road trip lunch spot.

They have wifi and we sat and worked for an hour or so.

INCREDIBLE!!!! A place driven by kindness and excellence. Celiac and gluten-free friendly. Most extensive grilled cheese menu!!! The BBQ chicken grilled cheese was deliciousssssss.

Tons of breakfast sets / sandwiches. Smoothies with real fruit / yogurt. Coffee. Pastries.

Bernie who runs it is a gem of a soul.

Free wifi. Cozy seating. Great great spot.

By chance—and knowing we did not wish to stop again in Saratoga Springs to eat lunch—five of us driving back to NYC from Montreal picked the Village Roast Coffee Shop off the Google map app. What a great decision. It is a small town charmer with good sandwiches, a clean bathroom, and an equally charming host/barista. It has an array of coffees and potions, some of which came with a cultural history. We departed with sandwiches in hand and drove south several miles to get back on I87–no back tracking. I would deem the Village Roast as one of NYS’s hidden gems. And don’t miss the decor. I learned new things about the Empire State.

Stopped in here on our way to Placid and was blown away. The service was unbelievable, the owner went above and beyond. Let our wives try the pumpkin Danish the moment it was done. I love that they had gluten free breakfast and snacks. Highly recommend stopping here! You can sit back and relax and watch Harry Potter while you wait for your food & coffee!!

Stopped in for a coffee on our way through when we saw the good reviews. Let me tell you, the reviews were right! Great coffee and the owner was very kind and easy to talk with.

The coffee is honestly the best part, not sure why they would give cream cheese on the side for a toasted bagel with cream cheese order.

I don’t think I can rate this place objectively because I am so grateful that we finally have a year round coffee shop in our sleepy little town! Keeseville isn’t an easy place to run a small business and this place goes above and beyond what you might expect from a coffee place, with fresh baked goods, breakfast and lunch specials, house-made sodas, and smoked chicken and ribs on the weekend. I, personally, love the port muffins that they offer as an option for the breakfast sandwiches. It’s like an oversized, slightly richer English muffin. My husband always gets his on an asiago bagel. Being able to keep my money local while grabbing a latte and a quick breakfast means a lot more when you live in a small, rural town.

We had two fantastic caramel iced lattes and the best bacon, egg & cheese bagel breakfast sandwiches today! We even got a pup cup from the baristas for our dog.
