What a wonderful breakfast we had. I watched a few YouTubers, like Lydia in Las Vegas etc over the weeks leading up to our visit from Australia. We thought we would give it a try. Late Feb 2026 we came for breakfast and had the New York Steak and Eggs special for $14.99. The cafe was full, which is always a good sign. The coffee was good, the steak was a sirloin cut, eggs over easy and fresh, potatoes were very yummy . We will definitely be back!

The food at Village Pub & Café at Ellis Island in Las Vegas was absolutely outstanding. From the first glance, you could tell everything was cooked with care and served generously.

The steak was the star of the meal — perfectly grilled with beautiful crosshatch marks, juicy and tender inside with a flavorful sear on the outside. Every bite was rich and satisfying, exactly what you hope for when ordering a great steak. The grilled shrimp alongside it were golden and crispy, with a light crunch on the outside and tender, flavorful seafood inside. A squeeze of fresh lemon over the top made them even better.

The sides were just as impressive. The mashed potatoes were creamy and smooth, topped with a savory brown gravy that tied the whole plate together. The green beans were cooked just right — still vibrant and slightly crisp, not overdone. Even the sauces on the side added an extra layer of flavor without overpowering the main dishes.

What really stood out was the balance of quality and comfort. It felt like a hearty, classic steakhouse meal but without the over-the-top price or pretension you might expect on the Strip. Generous portions, excellent flavor, and that welcoming atmosphere make Village Pub & Café a hidden gem in Vegas.

It’s the kind of meal that leaves you full, happy, and already thinking about when you’ll come back.

The best breakfast deal in vegas! Steak and eggs breakfast for less than $14. Steak is tender and the potatoes don’t look appealing but they taste great!! I was more than satisfied with the breakfast a the price. Although I don’t recommend the pancake ( it was kind of spongy and chewy) everything else was great.

Not really my style, unfortunately. This felt like a low-cost family restaurant-style steakhouse – quantity over quality kind of place.
Maybe it works if you have a large appetite and just want a lot of food? But for me, it wasn’t comfortable at all.
The restaurant also wasn’t very clean, which was disappointing.
I won’t be returning. Might work for others, but just not what I was looking for.

My family and Ivan dining at the village pub and Café at Ellis Island Casino for over a decade. Over the years the food quality has been consistently very good and the price has been very good as well. They have updated casino and it looks great! A very nice boutique casino with extremely good food. The restaurant could use a little updating, but the food quality and service is great so it doesn’t matter.

Their best dish is their prime rib in my opinion. It is extremely juicy tender and delicious. I highly recommend that you give the place a try.

One of the few Vegas hidden Gems. The food is amazing, and when you factor in the price… I don’t know of a better price for the quality this close to the strip.

I got the BBQ 1/2 & 1/2. I couldn’t even finish it. It tastes fresh made, which with BBQ is harder than you might think.

And if your in the mood for prime rib! One of the best slabs you can get under $50.

Highly recommend, I’m a local so I try to avoid the strip, but if I am making a stop down there.

This may be one of Vegas best kept secrets. The restaurant is in Ellis Island casino. You receive coupons for their restaurants with game play. The ribs were fall off the bone and the sauce was really good. The steak was cooked to order and very good. All of the sides were very good as well but no way we could finish it all. Two great tasting enormous meals in Vegas for under $30 is a win! It is a block off of the strip, close to the Sphere, and open 24/7 for a good meal before or after a show.

The Village Pub is a more affordable option when dining in Vegas. The food is good and the BBQ is solid as well. Portions are typically pretty large as well. It’s usually busy, but they get folks through pretty quickly. I always eat there if I stay at the Ellis Island Hotel.

This restaurant is great for what it is, and 24/7 casino coffee shop. Decent food, good prices, usually a short wait time. I eat here whenever I stay at the Ellis Island property. I recommend it if you don’t expect gourmet cuisine.

We had a Las Vegas Advisor coupon for this restaurant. And we had always wanted to visit Ellis Island. The restaurant itself is pretty old-school. Not fancy at all, but reminiscent of an earlier era.

We had lunch here and ordered the Lumberjack burger and the fish and chips. We also split one of their homemade root beers. The portions were extremely large and very very good. Especially the fish. Our server told us that they bring in whole fish and fillet them on site. They were piping hot and crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. The burger was also huge. We didn’t really care for the steak fries, though. The root beer was excellent. We recommend giving the pub a try if you are in the area.
