Since 1988 our Family owned and operated gathering place has proudly been committed to offering a warm atmosphere and old-world classic Italian cuisine to each of our guests. In keeping with tradition, our menu is based upon age-old family recipes including our hand-crafted breads and sauces along with the finest imported Italian products and fresh local products. Here we try to offer our customers something that they won’t experience anywhere else, a harmonic pairing of food and wine that tantalizes taste buds. Came in to the bar on Sept 29th with my girlfriend. We arrived around 620 ordered our food within 10 mins. We ordered mussels, creamy tarragon chicken, shrimp calabrese diavolo add the sausage, and a pizza to go home with for the next day. We were informed it was busy but after an hour and half and several drinks I was becoming impatient and asked where the mussels were since they shouldn’t of been that long. I was then informed that our appetizer and and dinners never went to the printer in kitchen. Meanwhile, the pizza had been sitting waiting for over an hour. They then brought us a very sad complimentary salad. Which I gladly ate because I was starving. The mussels arrived about 15 mins later. I then asked for our meals to go, since it had been over 2 hours since arriving. Warmed the pizza up when I got home to have something to eat. Then tonight I go to eat my pasta dish just find out there’s only 4 shrimp and no sausage that I requested and paid extra for. I have been going here for years this was one of the most disappointing experiences I have had. Your everyday customers are just as important as your special parties. Next time close for a private party and not have the lack of proper service. Amanda you were amazing as always.

We traveled 50 minutes to try this place as “google” mentioned it as one of the top 5 places in NY for delicious pizza. This place nailed it. Wings and pizza were delicious, we had several different kinds of pizza as our server mentioned we can do half of one gourmet pizza on one side and another on the other side. Crust, sauce and cheese hit every note possible. The server Kiaya was extremely friendly and efficient. We would def travel back there for more.

Have been here for dinner twice in the past month. First time we had meals, linguine with clam sauce, shrimp and scallops Antonio, both were excellent, calamari was abundant and delicious. Second time we stopped in for pizza, the works. Pizza was very good. Service the first time was very good but the second time we had an older female and she was not very good at all. Would recommend if you are in the mood for good food or pizza.

A great place for a quick meal or a family dinner. From appetizers, entrees, desserts, beverages Village Pizzeria Ristorante is simply the best. The staff is amazing, very hospitable and welcoming. If you’ve never been you must go. Reservations are not required however for dinners I suggest making reservations.

Me and my wife went there for the first time back in November 2025, we sat at the bar and we had a pleasant night; food, ambience and service 10/10, we went back a second time and it was good as well.
I came back to celebrate my birthday a week ago and the service was deficient, waitress took a long time to take our order and kept forgetting the water she offered and never checked if they had the ice cream she offered either. Also, the bussers that were helping the waitress , had no facial expression whatsoever, like they were obligated to work there.
I recommended the place to some friends before my last bad experience, and the staff were not nice either with them. They made them wait a hour for a table and told them with a tone that they should have made a reservation before. It’s a shame that staff is not always friendly.

Excellent food, splendid staff, tasty espresso martinis my absolute favorite and they hit it dead on! Food was delicious as were the apps, love the expansive wine list with higher end wines as well and loved seeing my own favorite on the list as well! Chicken Marsala top notch, bourbon burger my son loved and my husband enjoyed his Alfredo with broccoli and chicken.

This is the greatest Italian restaurant I’ve eaten in from the US to Italy. I live in Florida and Saratoga Springs, New York. The first restaurant I am eating in and will eat again in the one week. I am here is Village Pizzaria restaurant. It’s incredible. I’ve never had food like it. They even have gluten-free pizza and choices. Amazing wine list amazing. I can’t believe that I haven’t been here before. They are going to get sick of me. I will be eating there all the time when I’m up here and I eat the finest restaurants, but this is above and beyond.

I had the most amazing experience here last weekend while dining here with my husband and another couple. The atmosphere is relaxed and not too noisy at all (Saturday night, early dinner hour). Staff were welcoming and friendly. They stopped by to check on us often as well.
Now, for the food. It was absolutely delicious. We started with mozzarella sticks (always a first good test). They were cooked perfectly, and the marinara dipping sauce was flavored nicely. The bread that comes with all meals also arrives with an oil and balsamic dipping bowl. I don’t know why it tasted so good, but I couldn’t help but keep eating more!
My husband ordered the Philly pizza and loved it so much that he can’t wait to go back to try one of the many others on the menu. I had Chicken Marsala with Penne Pasta. All of their pasta is homemade. The Marsala Sauce had a perfect balance, not too sweet and also not too heavy on the wine. Chicken was thinner, which I prefer, and cooked well. (I prefer chicken that is cooked for a bit longer.) Our friends also liked their meals.
I can’t wait to go back – there are a bunch more things on the menu I want to try (Shrimp Scampi Pizza, you’re next). Highly recommend.

I used to walk here when I lived on Antioch Road back in the mid-90s, and I loved the feel of it and the food was always top-notch. I’ve been looking to recreate this kind of experience since then, and I’ve lived all over the country. This place is one of a kind and I miss it.
