Had a Great Dinner of Pizza tonight. Jenn was our Server and had the Best Personality and was a Pleasure having her as our Server. Polite, Professional and very Pleasant. Appreciated her sense of Humor and made us all feel comfortable dining and enjoying our pizza.

Went here with my kids on Columbus Day for the lunch buffet. It was my daughter’s birthday, and she said she wanted to go to a buffet. I googled buffets in the area, and this place came up. We’d been there for dinner, but not for the lunch buffet. We enjoyed ourselves. There was a good amount of food to choose from. The server was friendly. We’ll keep this in mind in the future.

Mortal Frailty
This rustic bar & grill style restaurant does have a pizza focus but has a full bar and gaming area, as well as plenty of space for special events.
Located right off Randall Rd. in Elgin, and just north of I-90 by a few streets so easy access off the highway, this restaurant has gluten free options for food, features a small arcade for kids, and a southern den-style theme straight out of south/midwest atmosphere. You’ll see a lot of stuffed animals throughout- mounted heads and full size smaller animals, as well as vintage firearms, antlers, farm equipment, and such to complete the look.
The center of the restaurant features a 3+ story raised/open ceiling around a fireplace, and the wood beams throughout give it the look and feel of a barn or lodge.
I only took off 1 star for service as my wife and I waited to be served for about 5 minutes on a Sunday with a lower customer crowd inside- maybe they were short-staffed at the time; otherwise, the atmosphere, food, and service by the staff after that was great!

Ordered the smallest Meat Lovers, Veggie and Cheese pizzas. Used take out, requested curbside pickup. The pizza was HOT and ready at the time stated. The crust was thin and crispy, toppings were ample, and just as I ordered. I definitely will order from here again. Took off two stars because when I arrived and called telling them I was there for curbside pickup they hung up on me twice then didn’t answer the phone. Finally had to go in and request my order.

I have to say this place has such great pizza I drove almost an hour just to have it for lunch. Their pizza is so tasty with a beautiful thin crust. They also offer a lunch buffet. Highly recommended! I only wish they’d open one closer to me!

It was our first time here, we wanted to try the pizza. My wife and I ended up sharing the cheeseburger, which was amazing one of the best we’d ever had. We also had the double decker pizza, that was not as good. It was kind of watery and it was very very salty. We will not be ordering that again. If we do ever go back, it will be for the cheeseburger. Very nice atmosphere and nice staff. But there was a cold draft at our table, and what I see from other reviews other people had the same issue.

Inattentive and untrained waitress couldn’t offer drink flavors. She sat on her phone while our drinks went dry for 30 minutes and we were her only table. Good pizza, but get better help!
