What a charming spot! Beautiful flowers outside and it’s very inviting.
The outstanding: English muffins, biscuits and pancakes were spectacular and we will be back for more!
Great: poached eggs
Not so great: hollandaise sauce was a big glob, not warm enough and just off. The corned beef hash was almost burnt and very mushy inside like through processor or canned. That’s ok because I’ll just order bacon or kielbasa instead….

This iconic eatery needs no introduction. It is a place to experience the ambiance, a place that time has not touched, a place where generations have come and enjoyed nothing more than a casual but hearty breakfast, brunch or lunch.

Craving a good old fashioned brunch, on a recent visit we had the eternal favorite of many, the Corned Beef hash with scrambled eggs, and a seasonal delight of peaches with their signature Pancakes. The food, as always, is the reason why this place has remained a local favorite for decades; it is fresh, simple but yet done just right to appeal to one and all.

If you are reading this and have not tried this quintessential breakfast place, stop by and taste the simple delights and savor the atmosphere of the yesteryear; so hard to find these days. One can’t go wrong with enjoying a well done breakfast or brunch in as authentic a New England charmer, as this place.

An excellent locally owned restaurant that serves breakfast, brunch and lunch. I tried their clam chowder as starter (It was delicious) and decided going for Mid America which consists of pork tenderloin, 2 eggs in any style, house fries and hot apple (With English muffins as a side.) The dish was delicious and the right amount. The service we received was outstanding; overall, this was a very good dining experience.

Wow where do I even start this place is truly a breakfast culinary experience that makes every bite remind you of your childhood on a sweet summer morning. Every aspect of this niche spot is amazing and truly deserves a 5-start rating. 10/10 would come again.

The Village Pancake House has been fondly remembered by my husband as a place he went with his family some 50+ years ago. Not being from the immediate area, I’d never been there, until today. I was craving some light and fluffy scrambled farm fresh eggs along with a side of buttermilk pancakes. I and my husband stopped there an hour before closing time. Nonetheless, the coffee was hot and fresh. We recieved ice water without mentioning it. (A vanishing practice in many places these days). The server was attentive and prompt. The atmosphere was pleasant with a bright, Colonial decor. The Village Pancake House is nice and clean and the restrooms were very tidy, even near closing time, which was when we dined today. Don’t let the name fool you! Their menu has ALL types of fare, not just breakfast. My fluffy, delicious scrambled eggs came with red bliss home fries and 3 buttermilk pancakes as a substitute for toast. The price was extremely reasonable and the portion was quite, quite generous!
Important!! They do NOT accept credit cards, just cash. There IS an ATM machine inside. I am looking forward to visiting my new favorite casual restaurant again very soon!

I got the Mexican Omelette and it as really good! My favorite part of the meal was the biscuit with honey and whipped butter. Our waiter was also really good and the service was fast! I highly recommend and I am looking forward to my next trip to Stephanie’s.

Love the village pancake house!! Been multiple times, always a fun spot to go to when we’re on the north shore. The vibes are very cozy and homey, perfect in all the seasons in New England. Love that they have all the breakfast classics with a few of their own- like the fried apples are delicious, and their pancakes are my favorite!!
