It seems like Priest River has a good collection of excellent restaurants. Despite the size of the town, food has been really good. For breakfast today, we were able to eat at the Village Kitchen Restaurant. What particularly struck us was that they had small plates for lighter eaters. My egg, bacon and pancake was only $7.95 while my wife’s egg, toast and bacon was $5.95!!! The pancake was delicious and the size of a dinner plate! Coffee mugs were very large but more importantly, everything tasted great and service was wonderful. You still get a lot of food despite the “small” plates. We think this is a perfect place to eat!!

Staff friendly and attentive. Stay away from the taco, enchilada, rellano combo. Chips were stale and salsa tasted like ketchup/tomato sauce. Cozy looking, but way too cold. Would have been nice if warmer and had fire on

Ok I rarely give a 100% thumbs up in this complex world we live in now. Today I was very surprised to discover the very best waitress that I have had the pleasure to be served by in Years! Unfortunately for everyone coming in next, she’s moving away And good luck? But, as for this kid, I look forward to the possibility of finding her again in the neighborhood of Couer d Alene! Best of luck

I’m not associated with the restaurant. I like to patronize local restaurants on my trips. A cute little place with friendly service. The 3-egg omelet and hash browns were very good and quite filling!

If you want to go to a restaurant that is owned my an someone that can’t fire they’re employees face to face but says to someone else she’s gonna close all there shifts just loud enough so they can hear it and the owner doesn’t know what she’s doing come here. If you want really mediocre food come here.

Best Cafe in Northern Idaho, friendly fast service and delicious good priced food. Only place open between Newport and Sandpoint. Great place!

One of the most welcome and at home restaurants we have been to in a long time. If you are looking for a wholesome place to dine in and feel like you’re at home, this is it. Ray, our server and co-owner, was genuine and warm in his conversations with my family and me. We have 2 littles, so many parents of littles know how much work it is to manage them in a restaurant setting. Ray was so kind and said not to worry about them at all. And it was true, all went well and we appreciate that. The food was good, too (we had breakfast). We will definitely be coming back!

Amazing food and great people! We’re from out of town and had to eat there both our days. The menu choices were awesome and the food was the best of our whole trip. An absolute must stop!

I’ve eaten here probably a half dozen times and enjoyed the food every time. Service is typically pretty quick and friendly. Have had a slow server before but, we all have off days. It’s a fun destination for a break when a group of us ride to Priest River. I enjoyed dining on the screened in deck in the back.
