Wanted to check this place out. Decent spot. More geared for kids I think. Pizza was decent nothing spectacular. The price for the buffet is affordable. I wish the salad bar had better lettuce. One is mixed greens & other it just shredded iceberg (not exactly salad). They could be better restocking the pizza. Many times they run out of pizza & you have to wait or say something. Like Hawaiian…every time I’ve had to specifically put in a request. Just have the main ones always on rotation. The unique dessert pizzas are interesting. Like a cream cheese base. The pizza is thin crust so you could definitely eat a whole pizza to yourself lol.

Great experience! Food bar was well stocked. Dining room was kept clean. Staff was excellent! Professional and friendly. Well worth the drive to get there. Will definitely be going back!

I go here every time I’m in Statesville. Just a tradition of mine. It’s not great and it’s not bad. Lots of selections and the buffet was kept well stocked.

Came in Sunday around 2. Wasnt busy at all. Was around 35 bucks for 2 with drinks. They ask you to tip which is weird considering you serve yourself. Salad bar was good. In the hour we were there, they didn’t replace a single pizza. They had several on the bar that were dried out and had combined multiple to each pan. The floor was covered in trash but they didn’t start to sweep until right before we left. There was a guy bussing tables, but wouldn’t prebuss, so you just have stacks of plates at the table.

We have eaten at Village Inn Pizza parlors since the eighties and love it! The food is delicious and varied. They keep plenty of pizza on the bar and keep the salad bar loaded and clean. I even like their spaghetti. They have a wide variety of pizza and you can request a particular kind to be added to the bar. They even have dessert pizzas! I like the cinnamon roll pizza, but my kids like the chocolate chip and the strawberry. If you are looking to eat pizza until you collapse, head on over!

I’ve been visiting Village Inn Pizza for many years at several different locations. I’ve been to this particular Restaurant many many times. This restaurant was an absolute disaster this evening. The staff was more interested in standing around socializing than taking care of the customers. The salad bar was a complete mess with food scattered across the bar and several food containers empty. The Spaghetti bar/ Pizza bar had food scattered across it also. No clean drinking cup put out. Trash on the floor and several dirty tables. One employee with very long facial hair was making pizza and wasn’t wearing any type of hair net on his face or head. Completely disappointed.

This was my first visit at Village Inn Pizza. I’m met one server who was a great young man! The salad bar was very good. My only request would be some white based pizza… With broccoli or spinach or vegetables. Otherwise, good lunch and was happy to contribute to the Alzheimer’s fundraiser!
