Rocky Mountain Mac & Cheese is a must have! Their patty melt is also amazing! The service is friendly and fast. The atmosphere is the usual hole in the wall bar that I love. Everyone knows everyone and the servers know the regulars, even after awhile. Will always recommend.

Nice place to stop for bite while riding the White Pine Trail that goes by just across the road. Great and happy service and a decent bar menu. Good clean place. We ordered a cod basket, chili dogs and regular dogs. All were good. Coffee good too. We didn’t sample any bar items but the offering of Deschutes Fresh Squeezed shows they know what plays good with me.

Ate there just to get threatened when leaving. (Since it asked me to describe the threatening) a regular decided to chase the person I was with claiming that they were the sheriff in town (not a very bright move when im pretty sure he lives right down the road on Northland or federal what ever its called there). When the call was made to inform the bar that the police were going to show up they seemed to care more about the name of who reported it rather than the incident. All while the self proclaimed sheriff was yelling in the background. Sadly people were drunk early in the afternoon and acting a fool with a kid present and this seems to be the acceptable behavior there. Overall food was good to be expected from a bar. service was friendly and prompt though not sure why they questioned the name so much. Atmosphere was crap starting out with a person who drank way more than they could handle who definitely shouldn’t find themselves behind the wheel of a moving vehicle let alone be around children that small to the threats in the parking lot from a regular which seemed to be defended by staff from my perspective. All and all the so called sheriff walked right past me and went after the little guy. Perhaps because I was bigger or maybe I was drinking rootbeer either way I will be sharing my experience every where I travel. Makes for a good story to the circles I run in.

Village Inn in Pierson has always had great food but, I recently went back after some years and was very impressed with the food quality and quantity. The wet burrito is fantastic and my wife loved the fish and sweet potato waffle chips!!
