I just had the best Reuben of my entire life at Village Inn Grill. I felt like I should stand up and call everyone’s attention to it, right there in the restaurant. “Order the Reuben: you won’t be sorry,” I wanted to shout. The meat is homemade, not that thin-sliced stuff from the deli case. The bread is perfect: marble rye, not greasy with butter but clearly grilled right. Perfect amount of cheese. I opted out of the thousand island dressing, but you do you. Just try it! You can’t go wrong.

We seated ourselves. Only 1 person for the whole dining room so service was slow but friendly. The perch dinner was really good. The French onion soup was just ok. Would definitely go back again.

We were traveling home to Indiana when we got off the expressway and found this little hidden gem. The menu is limited but the prices wear great . The food was very fresh and delicious. And the staff were very friendly.

It’s a local diner with ambiance. The menu is not too overwhelming. The Hot Roast beef sandwich was very good as were the mashed potatoes and gravy. You could tell everything is homemade. Service was prompt, even though there was a sign letting you know it may be slow. I will definitely go back

Great tasting food. Super friendly service. We ordered fried cheese curds and chicken chunks and was surprised to see that they were hand dipped. Delicious. I had the Reuben which was fantastic due to the quality corned beef and amount of sandwich fillings. We don’t go through Elmore often, but would definitely go back when we do.

Service-> friendly and attentive. Chilli dog was huge. Cod was very good. Ruben is spectacular!! Fries very crispy and delicious!! Will definitely be back for breakfast! Doesn’t get much better for a small town Cafe’.
