My wife ordered the patty melt with a side of fresh mixed fruit (other options included fries or coleslaw). Her sandwich was cooked perfectly—crispy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I went with the double club on rye, and it was a beast of a sandwich! Thick-sliced carved turkey, generous strips of thick bacon, ham, cheese, lettuce, and tomato stacked high—hearty and satisfying. I swapped out the usual fries for hash browns and added a side of their house-made cornbread stuffing. Wow! Everything was served hot, fresh, and fast.
The portions were huge and the value exceptional. I couldn’t even finish my sandwich (which is saying something). The service, food, and overall experience continue to make this one of our go-to spots in Federal Way. Highly recommend!
We went to our usual diner at Denny’s. They had plenty of people as well, but someone told us right away as soon as we walked in that it would take a minute. Shortly after we got seated and everything fast. It was in and out in no time.
The food was mediocre. I ordered biscuits and gravy, which would have been a 6.5/10, but the gravy was really bad and made the meal a 4/10 at best. I think it came from a cheap can. It was very gelatinous. After I scraped it off the biscuits, they were okay, but not even as good as my local cheap greasy spoon restaurants.
If this is consistent with the quality of food and service customers get, then this place is easily 30%-40% overpriced.
We were the only diners when we visited, which was perfect for me. I’m so, so impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant!! The music was great! The food (taste, prices, presentation, etc.), drinks, and service was on-point! We’ve found us another special dining destination. Kudos to ALL the staff!
The food was so tasty. My hashbrowns were crispy and although I didn’t like the texture of my pancakes because I found them a little dense they were delicious. They have a great buttery vanilla flavour and are well cooked. The bacon is excellent. It’s not that usual stuff that tastes like salt but instead it’s like biting into crisp, hickory, porky heaven. Even my husband’s sourdough toast was well toasted without being burnt and buttered to all the corners…. and their orange juice was. It was just good you should try it.
It’s amazing how comforting it is to have a well made breakfast. We will definitely be back to try their burgers.
Wife got the two egg plate with cubed potatoes and English muffin (potatoes were too crispy for her and the muffin looked a little beat up) but “all gone” by the end of the meal.
Personal note: avoid the table with the pass through window that opens up to the register if you need a quieter venue.
