Ok all you foodies looking for good food at a fair price, these Village Inns are the place to go. My wife and I travel up and down the Wasatch front We have visited many a breakfast house or restaurants that serve breakfast and have been disappointed to say the least. As we were driving through the town of Murray I remember the village inn so we stopped in to the village in and then (little poetry for y’all) decided to have their breakfast which as usual was very good I had chicken fried steak and eggs with hash browns and pancakes My wife had one of their skillets I had a orange juice, she had a coffee and it was just a good old-fashioned very tasty breakfast and it was Wednesday and after 10:00 in the morning it’s free pie Wednesday They also have great pies I just have to tell you it’s also a restaurant that actually gives you salt and pepper shakers cuz the salt and pepper really does come out without having to unscrew the lid and dribble it over your food in fact if you go there and you use the salt and pepper shakers it comes out really fast but that’s okay with me It was great. So if you have a village inn and your town near you I highly recommend going there and just having a good old-fashioned breakfast.

Great tasting food served quickly and with a smile. Josh, our server, was great. Definitely worth a repeat visit. They had a special chicken cordon Bleu crepe meal that was fantastic. Also their strawberry cheese cake crepe was wonderful. Two thumbs up.

We visited this place for the very first time and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the host that welcomed us (We asked her if they have crayons for our daughter and she said they don’t anymore but a few minutes later she came back and brought a piece of paper and a marker for my baby to draw, that was such a nice gesture ❤️) and our server Josh was exceptional too, he was so attentive and took good care of us.
I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs and was delicious. I recommend the place 100%

A weeknight. Wednesday. 6 pm. I am seated with my family, and the wait begins.
There are currently two other tables, but our hostess is the only employee I see.
After about ten minutes, our server stops by to let us know she’ll be taking our drink order soon.
About 5 minutes after that, the hostess comes by to take our drink order. She reminds us twice that she isn’t a waitress.
She brings two thirds of the drinks, and lets us know the server will have to do the shake and limeade.
The server arrives, and it’s time for the show to begin. We ordered, and reminded her of the shake and limeade. It did not take an unusual amount of time. The syrup was warm. I liked that. It was nice.
My wife’s plate, it had a biscuit on it instead of the toast. She says, “I’m sorry, I thought this came with the toast.” But the server cut off the end of the sentence to say she’d get it. She seemed really annoyed.
We enjoyed the food. We did not see her again until we were finished. She came by for pie orders, and we each got a slice.
I had the peach pie. Everyone said their pie was delicious. My peach pie tasted pretty good, but bottom crust was not cooked. It was doughy goo. The top crust was perfect, though.
I left a cash tip.

Breakfast at around 9:30am on Pioneer Day. I ordered the California Skillet (Country potatoes topped with scrambled eggs, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, onions, fresh spinach, Swiss cheese, Hollandaise sauce and avocado slices) and pancakes. My skillet arrived with no bacon, but I didn’t notice until I’d already had a few bites, so I shrugged it off. Service was friendly but provided zero water refills. Coffee was okay, but the coffee jug was noticeably filthy. Pancakes were good, the hollandaise sauce was good. Otherwise, pretty much what you’d expect from a breakfast franchise on State Street.

Mellissa (or possibly Marissa?) was our server and she absolutely crushed it. I had a few special requests for my omelette and she didn’t miss a single thing. My husband and I really enjoyed our meal—and as we were driving out of the parking lot, she came out to bring us the slice of pie we forgot She truly went above and beyond, and not enough people take the time to leave positive reviews when someone does. She was the best, and we’d be delighted to have her as our server again.

Love village inn. One of the best breakfast places around. Wish there were more locations closer to my house. Also, no one else makes pies like they do!

It was my first time at Village Inn, and I went with some friends to grab breakfast. The overall experience was good — the staff was friendly and the atmosphere had that classic diner feel. My friends ordered some really good plates, but I decided to get the grits since my dad used to make them for me when I was younger. Unfortunately, they were pretty watery and didn’t taste great, which was a little disappointing. Still, the rest of the food looked solid, and their pies were good as always! I’d just recommend sticking with their regular breakfast items next time.

Today I ordered some breakfast, once our food was delivered I was excited to dig in. Only to open it with bad fruit. Very disappointed and can’t believe they would serve something like this
