I love to find village inns and stop in. This one has a really very kind staff. Generous portion of steak. Very affordable. Not expecting fillet of course. Every bite had non chewable gristle. id still order it again.

Courteous service, delicious food and decent prices. Had the avocado toast breakfast. Its presentation was wonderfully done.
My friend had a nice breakfast as well. Can’t remember what he had because he ate it all quickly. The pancakes at the end were really good.

I thought the food was tasty. The eggs and hash browns were above standard. French toast was well done. I enjoyed our visit.
My fiancee says The coffee didn’t taste good, like prison coffee.
They took a long time to get us out our order. But they were kinda busy. But then we didn’t get checked on and we needed stuff. So that was annoying.
We do intend to go back and try again though. A night before that we actually ordered this same place they grub hub and we surprised at how quality and tasty the food was. Cause it’s usually hit or miss with breakfast.. The hash browns are very square like a patty but still loose. Bacon was perfectly crisp and chewy.
Totally worth going.
Building a bit old and seating close.
We recommend trying it.

Absolutely fantastic! Clean, delicious food, and everyone working there was so incredibly friendly and kind, there were many local regulars and the waiters clearly had relationships with them and knew their orders — it was honestly an incredible spot to stop for breakfast and the food was delicious!

2025: Haven’t been here in a year and now I remember why. I just got an omelet that was only big enough to be maaaybe 2 small eggs for the entree and 3 silver dollar pancakes with hash browns for $21 because I wanted more veggies than offered on menu items and you can’t change that online on the menu items. I had to build it on the BYO one. $21 for a kids meal sized box of food is atrocious. What the heck are you even doing, trying to be IHOP? Still not worth the gas to pick anything up much less the astronomical prices now.
2024: This place serves mediocre food with slow service if you don’t get ignored altogether. I ordered the All World Double Cheeseburger to go so I didn’t have to deal with the service and I see zero onion rings. That’s the whole point of the burger??? You can’t even take them off in the menu online. I definitely didn’t accidentally select anything, I literally just ordered it as it comes right off the menu. This place really isn’t worth bothering with. Go to McDonald’s, it’s pretty much the same price but they have a better chance of getting your order right and they’ll be nicer.

Late April, 2021…stopped in for morning eggs over easy, hash browns, and sausage, English muffin and COFFEE! That carafe of COFFEE is what seals the deal when I decide where to go for breakfast…it’s the best.Oh, and the service was very good…two more thumbs way up!.

Nasty food, sausage links were cold in the middle . Breakfast burrito was bland and tasted metallic. Had to wait 20 min for a glass of water .Never going here again. Randys south side diner is way better!

Was kind of taken aback when we walked in and and instantly greeted by a very friendly and professional lady. The waitress was super nice as well. Good food and lots of it. It’s nice to go into a restaurant with this kind of service because it few and far between that you find places like this.
