The food was good, especially the pancakes! The service is very efficient and friendly! The eggs were a bit dry on my omelette, but it still tasted good! I love their fries!

My fiancé and I have been to this location twice in the last few weeks, and Nicole is such a fantastic waitress! She’s personable, genuine, and very attentive. I cant say enough good things about her. On top of that, the food is always fresh, and the restaurant is immaculate. Both times were great experiences.

Spending too much time waiting will immediately ruin the mood for breakfast. It’s not very busy, it’s a Saturday they seem to have ample coverage. We waited for around 10 minutes to even get noticed to get drink orders. Kendra was our server and she was sweet, she apologized for the delay. Kendra made that experience better but the food was pretty disappointing, I ordered eggs Benedict, and I don’t expect dry Benedict’s but not wet, it was actually diluting the hollondaise. Looks like a village inn but the mug was dirty, the coffee pot wasn’t wiped off and dried with coffee. It’s alright, I have higher expectations for my breakfast places. Price was great. Service was excellent, shout out Kendra.

I have never written a bad review before. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for 6 years so I understand things go wrong sometimes, but this experience was awful. I ordered biscuits and gravy this morning. When the food came out I took about 3 bites before realizing the gravy tasted a little sour. I didn’t think much of it at first, but then I took a closer look and there was curdled chunks everywhere in the gravy. Server didn’t even act surprised and asked me what I would want instead. I told him just a side of toast and some bacon. Then when the bacon and toast was brought out MORE problems. The bacon was soggy and barely cooked even though my partners bacon was cooked just right. Then I picked my toast up just to realize it’s charred to a crisp. Honestly this is the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. They did comp my meal and gave me the bacon and toast for free which is kind, but this many mistakes with one table makes me wonder how many people they have served rotten food to. I would not recommend this location. I love village inn, but I will not be returning to this location ever again.

Assistant manger fought my return of a curdled, spongy banana cream pie. I had had a bad pie before, so I checked it before taking it home. Upon finding the inside chunky, curdled, and spongy, I went back in to exchange it or get a refund. The assistant manager argued me and said, “that’s how they are.” I told him I’ve been coming for 30 years and they are a custard pie not a dry curdled mess. Since there was no replacement, I asked for a refund and he put up a fight. He started it and I said I was sorry I was not trying to give him a hard time. He said, “you’re giving me a hard time, this is how it is.” I said the customer is always right, he replied, “no they’re not.” He walked off and the general manager came out finished the refund and agreed, “yeah this is gross.” Don’t buy the pie, it must come in frozen and is mummified. Gross. Never going back after 30 years. You can make a better pie at home.

I ordered their Ultimate Breakfast with eggs, bacon, ham, and pancakes. I didn’t think you could mess up pancakes, but they were so heavy with oil I only ate 1/4 of them. The ham was so salty that I couldn’t eat it. Service was very slow.

Two servers roaming around the dining room within 10 feet of me, making eye contact, but not lodging that I’m there. the least, they can let me know that someone is gonna be with me.. I felt like my business was unwanted. Meanwhile, my takeout food is getting cold behind the counter.. maybe they thought it was a DoorDash or maybe my tip wasn’t enough.. either way, I’m not coming back for this kind of customer service. I understand people are busy, but that’s why you let customers know that someone will be with them. The one gal with the short blonde hair and glasses who made eye contact with me, kept making her rounds.. stopped at three different tables while the other server was just chitchatting with her Regulars the whole time
