This location always exceeds my standards when it comes to a cozy dining experience!!! The food is always fresh and hot, and perfectly spot on regardless of how many modifications my family makes. Ordered 2 pies for Christmas party. Peach was great, Xmas choc silk also very good. 2 other ladies in line were also picking up pies! One said lemon cream one is A++. Friendly & attentive service. Many diners but not too crowded. Will head back for a family brunch sometime soon.

This is a typical diner that has breakfast food all day. They have other food like burgers and fries, but I always get breakfast. The price is pretty good and the food is good as well. The staff is friendly and remembers you if you are a regular. The also have a good selection of pies if you need dessert. The coffee is nice and they have a few flavors of creamer if you want to get fancy.

We came here for Thanksgiving lunch. We were seated almost immediately and after a few minutes our server came and took our order. Jackson brought our drinks right away and the food was hot. He was very attentive and checked on us frequently. We were very happy with the food and service. Thanks guys!

I occasionally buy the fish and chips meal. Usually there’s 4 pcs fish which is enough for 2. Sometimes, there are only 3. (???) Hit or miss. I chose mac and cheese and fries as sides. I was shocked to see the mac and cheese in plastic with a slit cut in it. Never ordered it b4 so never seen it b4. Hopefully, they don’t give the kids plastic. The fish is really good! Service is very nice and atmosphere is nice.

This place has great food I love their breakfast but I especially love their pies. I love the fact they have waiters and waitress with so much positivity and respect and when they’ve served you before they will recognize you. I love the fact they have hazelnut creamer for my coffee when I’m in the mood for creamer that one is my favorite kind of creamer. I also love the fact that they have a rewards and every $100 you get 10 dollars to save ln your next trip and they have occasional coupons and deals to save. I just love this place thanks village inn

The East Wichita Village Inn, at the south end corner of Harry and Rock. Here is a fairly reliable diner for the east side, with a good menu of variety and quality food. My most recent visit was for one supreme breakfast, the Tuscan Skillet. The combination of chicken and pesto with the sunny side up eggs and crispy potatoes were well executed by the cook. My meal also came with a crape that was wonderfully presented with strawberries and whipped cream but the pastry was too tough to enjoy. Overall, it was a fine meal from this major chain. I do think the service and atmosphere at this location can be all over the place and this last trip was loaded with issues like being seated in the worst spot in the house despite having plenty of open booths, a below-average waitress, and an absolute bottom-level greeter who made a horrible first and last impression of the restaurant. However, food is what they do best and I’m not detoured enough to never return. I can recommend this Village Inn when simply needing to go with a popular diner that has a little something for everybody.

When I was sat down I was already ready to place my drink and food order. The waiter came by and said I’m just here for drinks. Then he came back 10 minutes later to take my food order I said I thought you were only the drink person he goes nope I have to take the orders in order. I have no issue with village inn. They did respond to this message. I’ve never been to a restaurant that when they sent me down to take my drink order I was unable to order my meal at the same time. I recommend them all the time when someone says I want to sit down and eat breakfast. I have been eating at village inn ever since I was a little kid. I’m over the age of 40 now.

The staff was really really friendly and helpful.
The women bathroom were extremely nasty! Shoes were sticking to the floor and toilets were dirty. The bathroom smelled really bad. Glad I went after I ate or I would have lost my appetite.
