First came on November 5 for my Wife’s birthday. Her comment was, “This is one of the best breakfast she ever had and we are very good cooks” Skillet and omelet were great.
Food was really good and the server excellent.
Back again on Nov22nd.
Tried Chicken fried Steak added the salsa to my liking. Not my personal fav but it was prepared really well.
Sure we will be coming back again, trying something new everytime.

Great portions for breakfast. I had the chicken fried steak with eggs , toast and hash browns. The roast was buttered to perfection and the eggs were scrambled as ordered. I was stuffed and barely was able to finish my meal. Plenty of breakfast options too. If you like pie, then this is the place for that too. This was at their Moorhead,MN location.

Village inn is a great spot. My little dude and I went there for dinner together. He got the “Vill In funny face” and I got a burger. Kids eat free a few nights a week, and the bill came to well less than 20$. Highly recommend this spot for a quiet dinner.

I’ve got the chicken fried steak skillet 3 times, and it’s fantastic, pie is really good too. Just got the skillet again, and they forgot the egg, otherwise would give it 5 stars

Went at 10:30 on Sunday, wait was 10 to 20 mins, I was seated in 10. Amazed at how FAST my food came! They were so busy but handled it well! Waitress was super friendly and best part was they leave a carafe of coffee so no worries on refills. It’s a diner, so not fancy, but very good and lots of choices. Got a piece of sugar free apple pie to go for a friend and I still think it was under $20.

Love the biscuit and gravy. My friend said her egg Benedict was really good. Another said the tomato soup (not pictured) was fantastic. We (Acapella Express) love coming here after special rehearsal once in a while. They handled the 16 of us very well.

Overall really enjoyed my first time visit. Our waitress was fantastic. Food was actually really good. Inside was very nice, service was pretty quick too. We didn’t have to wait long for our food. Only slightly down side that wasn’t really much chicken at all in the chicken noodle soup. But it was still pretty tasty.

I ate lunch here w/a church and family group of 10 on a Sunday afternoon. Plenty of parking at a busy time, a cozy atmosphere w/ a small, friendly buzz. The highchair for our toddler felt a bit “sticky,” but the service was on point and the seating was spacious and comfortable. The menu is smaller and more focused than other competing restaurants like Perkins or Denny’s, but that’s nice actually. Makes decisions easier. The children’s menu was . I ordered a double cheeseburger with seasoned fries and AC extra side of coleslaw. Delicious and ample options Altogether, a solid choice for family dining. Looking forward to trying their breakfast and pie options sometime!
