We came here for the first time with a group of 14. I didn’t have high expectations. But I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly people and great service and very reasonable prices for the food. The filet I had was tender and perfectly cooked. And the fried cod was delicious. Our group was very happy.

Visited the Village Inn a few months ago, after hearing about their great Prime Rib dinner on Sat. evenings. Not the best Prime by far. Did not taste the best, kinda dry, and the meat had grill marks on it as it had been flopped on a grill to re-heat it. Won’t go back to this place.

We had good service. But, the food reminded me of food from a nursing home. It was ok & tasted good, but not great. Salad was just iceberg lettuce mix from a bag. No extra effort put into vegetable variety. Fried cod wasn’t hand battered. It was frozen processed cod pieces, all uniform in shape. They tasted good, but were not great. The fries were very good, though. Nice and crispy brown.
Overall, I wanted a great meal and the meal ended up being just okay.
