I came in one weekday morning for breakfast, getting there around 7:30AM and they were moderately busy. They have a nice menu loaded with lots of the typical, as well as many unique items for breakfast/brunch. My server told me they do a great job with pancakes, so I opted for their corned beef hash breakfast dish, which comes with a stack of 3 pancakes. I asked for the hash to have jalapeños in it.

The food came out quickly… The corned beef has was EXCELLENT! Nice and crispy, like I prefer and how I requested and the pepper in it were abundant and flavorful!! The pancakes were also very very good and the scrambled eggs with cheese were cooked perfectly too.

Service was great and so was the coffee. The venue is kind of worn down, but still decent. Overall, it was a great experience!

We just picked up a Banana Cream Pie to go since it was closing in less than a half hour. The gentleman who helped us was so kind nd funny! He gave us the biggest banana cream pie and wished us a good night!

BREAKFAST DONE RIGHT.

This place really takes care of its customers. Got seated, given refreshments, and got my order in the span of maybe 15 minutes during peak hours. It was my birthday today and I wouldn’t be surprised if they knew ahead of time. I’ve never been here in my life so that’s saying something.

Eggs and breakfast meats were good, hashbrowns were phenomenal. Crunch in every bite. Biscuits and gravy was very simple and delicous. Wish my strawberry pancakes came with more strawberry syrup to them though, that would really make it pop. Not sure if that’s an option.

And this place has GOOD sweet tea. Don’t be afraid to order it.

Decided after church to go to Village Inn. I had not been there in a long time. Our waitress was Sarah she was okay. The food was not tasty at all. The oatmeal was like paste the eggs were soaked in oil. The bacon was okay but it was not fresh. The frenhtoast was good. I was so disappointed and I dont like sending food back. It should be fresh for 15.00 to pick what you want. To the cook don’t try to save money or give your customers something you don’t want to eat.

A good solid, no nonsense diner. Atmosphere was a little sterile for me, food was good but not great, would be interested to come back for lunch.

I had the eggs Benedict, which is my benchmark for a breakfast place, and it was good. Eggs were cooked correctly and the hollandaise sauce was decent. The toast was a bit soggy. Was a little disappointed in the service, our server seemed distracted, spilled orange juice on her table when setting the glasses down, didn’t apologize and never offered to clean it up or even give us extra napkins to clean it up the spill. Otherwise was pretty good.

The Village Inn in Virginia Beach is always a reliable spot for a great meal.

The food is consistently excellent, with generous portions and flavors that keep us coming back. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in what they serve.Service is generally good—friendly and efficient—even if it’s not always outstanding.

The atmosphere is comfortable and casual, nothing fancy or over-the-top, but perfect for a relaxed meal.

Overall, it’s a solid neighborhood restaurant with great food you can count on. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

I really enjoyed my visit here for breakfast and most certainly plan on dining here again! The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was very comfortable and homely! There were so many options and I was unsure of what to get but our server was very helpful in explaining the different options. The skillet I ordered contained turkey sausage, potatoes, and eggs, with a side of pancakes. The food was amazing and the portion size was very good for the price! I highly recommend this place!

I went to Village Inn on Independence Blvd, Virginia Beach for the first time and the food was good. Speciality coffees were amazing… and the PIE!!!! OMG Restaurant was clean, bathrooms were modern and clean.

But what made the experience great enough for us to go back the next was our waitress, Deanna! Customer service was IMPECCABLE but she was also sweet and happy.

The manager in duty both days was also very accommodating and friendly.

Overall, a great experience.

I was accompied by a female friend and her child, and they both can be very hard to please at restaurants, but at their very first visit to Village Inn, they were full of smiles and excitement about the food and the atmosphere. They waited patiently and was very surprised about how quickly the food arrived. The child, seven years old and autistic, was thrilled with the Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes, which was huge. His mom was surprised that she could order dinner from the menu at lunch time. The number of good choices had her shook. She ordered from across the menu and ate it all! I had fluffy pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon. Very delicious. The coffee was quality tasting. The service was outstanding, even with the large rush around noon. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. The restrooms were sanitary and clean. I recommend Village Inn for a family meal or just between friends. There is handicap parking, wheelchair accessible entrance and a very good pie selection.
