Incredible experience at this lovely restaurant. The food was DELICIOUS and all our dietary issues weren’t a problem as the staff were so helpful throughout the whole evening. The best Indian restaurant we’ve been to in London, we will definitely becoming back a lot!

My fave Indian restaurant. I come here often and they always treat us well. Food is always excellent. Last time I came for my Wife’s birthday and they were kind enough to give a complementary ice cream cake without even asking. Everything on the menu is top tier!

My favourite Indian restaurant, and at the moment, my favourite restaurant full stop! The food is always so fresh and delicious. The service is top notch, and food comes quickly. The staff are always very welcoming and make you feel comfortable instantly. I went last week for my birthday, and already looking forward to going back. We also have visited for New Year’s Eve. Always great!

A really delicious meal and a lovely evening. The staff were really lovely and the setting was very nice. They fit us in despite being incredibly busy and we are very grateful!

I have visited this restaurant several times and it never disappoints. All staff are welcoming, warm and friendly. They have a range of items on the menu, including your usual Indian dishes and some more original takes (duck tenga, Gurka’s revenge), all of which are plentiful and delicious.
All in all, it is a solid 5-star Indian restaurant with great service that has now become a firm favourite of mine.

It can get noisy when they’re busy.

The food is excellent, the lamb in particular is extremely tender (this is often where Indian restaurants can be inconsistent, but in the times I have been here to both done in and take away it has been lovely).

They will modify dishes if you ask them (I often ask for extra green chillies or for chicken to be well done/charred).

The manager seems very proud of the food (and rightly so) the portions are generous and the restaurant is constantly busy. It’s my new favourite Indian restaurant/takeaway

Village Indiya in Woodford is a great spot for anyone who loves authentic flavors and a vibrant atmosphere. The food is genuinely amazing – full of rich spices, fresh ingredients, and well-balanced dishes that make the dining experience memorable. The vibe of the place adds to the charm, with a warm, welcoming interior and pleasant background music that creates a relaxed yet lively setting.

What let the experience down, however, was the service. While the food and ambiance stood out, the staff seemed inattentive and not as polished as you’d expect for the price point. At an average cost of around £40 per person, you’d hope for a more seamless and attentive service to match the quality of the food and setting. Overall, it’s a restaurant worth visiting for the flavors and atmosphere, but the service leaves room for improvement.

Lovely restaurant, beautiful place. Food was okay, lacked a strong flavour, which meant it wasn’t quite authentic Indian food.
But overall was nice.
Restaurant is small so was quite loud in there.

Deserts is definitely an area for them to improve on.

Very disappointed. Went few years ago and it was amazing. They cut chunks out of the lamb chops. When asked why pieces of the meat was missing the reply was it’s better for cooking. But where is the meat I’m paying for.

Update: We recently ordered for family and they loved the food!! So compliments to the chef! Would be great if you could deliver for big orders.

First time trying this place and I must say their curry had good flavours.

I requested for a normal chicken curry not on the menu and that was delicious! So thank you for making that.

Didn’t take enough pictures to share as we ate all the food! Will be sure to order here again.
Staff was nice and polite when collecting the takeaway.
It’s a bit pricey for the takeaway dishes in comparison to general takeaways.
