We had a great lunch here. I enjoyed my grilled cheese sandwich (simple, but did the job). My friend got a delicious white bean soup.

Bonus elements: 1) Gluten free menu available; 2) super friendly service; 3) Fast kitchen.

Parking was available- small lot, and also easy to park in the street.

I’ll have to come back to try the “Beef HotShot,” which is reputed to be a specialty of the restaurant…. Something about meat and gravy… sounded yummy.

Got the thanksgiving pizza and it was really burnt, the soup I wanted was out and the food my buddy got was cold. We had three different servers, each dealing with problems from other tables as-well. I feel like this place has been going down hill for a few years but now there is no point in coming back to eat here. Edit: My meal was not compensated they removed the inedible pizza which is the bare minimum of what they should have done.

Checked out the new Villager at the Village Family Restaurant last night. Couple Warped Wing draft beers and a variety of others in cans. Full VFR menu available, so, plenty of great food options too.
Service was fast and friendly.
Will be fun to see how this space evolves.

Had lunch with my best friends and had a wonderful time. Service was great and the Beef Kabobs with rice was delicious. Took time to walk through the “ Lewis Mercantile “ and enjoyed just relaxing and spending time with friends. Would recommend the Village restaurant highly!

Excellent cafe/diner-style food. I tried a bite of everything at our table and even the kids meals were great. Server and other staff were pleasant and did a great job. Just a well-ran, family restaurant with quality food.

Cute experience for young and old. Free parking. Fun shopping. Horse drawn carriage rides (only $5) face painting. And more!

The servers were very friendly. Very nice family diner type setting. Pizza was a little too cheesy and under done to my well-done liking, personal preference. My wife got the fried fish dinner, and i got the hot shots dinner. Both of them were excellent, would order again. My kids got a gluten-free pizza, and theirs seemed to be cooked better. The gluten-free crust was nice. We are fans of toppings on top. One thing i really appreciated was that the staff made a smiley face on the pizza for my kids.

If you seek a place with tasty food prepared exactly as you’ve requested, this is your place. Breakfast was prepared exactly as requested. My wife likes her bacon prepared until all of each piece is crisp, yet most restaurants serve her bacon with some “rubbery” parts. Yet they prepared it for her exactly the way she prepares her own at home. The pancakes are not only HUGE, but VERY tasty! Corned beef hash was excellent, as well. The waitress could not have been nicer! Even though we live in Lebanon, we will gladly make the dive up there occasionally for an outstanding breakfast.

Not the experience that we’ve gotten in past visits. Went in for a late lunch. (2ish) It wasn’t busy and we got a booth. Waitress got our drinks. Anyone notice the bad taste in the water? We were told it was city water. Tasted like rinse water. Horrible! ( we’ve had the water many times before) It never tasted like this. Went down for the Lamm’s stew, my favorite. They didn’t have any chili. ( First time for that ) We decided to get toasted cheese sandwiches. Nothing special, just disappointed by no Lamm’s. It was a long wait for toasted cheese and not being very busy. I’ve enjoyed the Village in past visits but, this was not a pleasant experience. Sorry,

Beware of added service charges for card users. The prices on the new menu (under the new owners) show prices for cash paying customers only. While they posted a note on said charge, it was on the last/back page & at the very bottom after the kid’s menu , which we find is not conspicuous enough thus easily escapes customers’ notice. Btw, my sandwich came with a burnt bun, which I put aside.
