Local Joint – perfect LI deli. Very popular with folks loving in south Bellmore. Also a go to spot for lunch for teachers / kids from the school. The decor is a bit old looking, but it adds to the Deli feel.

The store is clean. Pleasent atmosphere. This establishment ONLY takes cash. There’s an ATM on promises. Usually, cash only translates to great prices. That’s not the case at this deli. Several staff members where I work feel items are overpriced, I agree. Most say they’ll just go up to Merrick Rd. instead. Apparently, the local residents don’t mind the pricing there. Parking is limited on the street.

My absolute favorite deli! I have been going here since I was a freshman at Kennedy HS and now years later I am a local real estate agent, and still go here all the time! Wide variety of food, drinks, snacks and the location is extremely convenient as well!

Step one: walk in. Step two: walk up to the counter. Step three: say these exact words “Hungry man with hash browns and salt pepper ketchup on a hero.” It doesn’t matter what you do for the rest of the day you will be happy. This place has been run by the same people forever. They are a staple of the community and deserve your business.

Little deli that started as bait shop. Kids and workers make their daily pilgrimage here. Good , fast food. Can call ahead. Always have milk, bread, eggs. Nice owners.
