I ordered the Italian sub with village peppers on the side. It was a little smaller than I expected for the price but there was so much meat on it! ( I’m a fan of the bread!!!!). It was a great sandwich! I’d treat myself to another!!! The peppers were also very tasty. I just recommended you to the UPS driver!!! Thumbs up!!

Nice clean shop. Didn’t have a lot of meat on display as the advertise on website. Cashier didn’t know much about anything for instance she didnt know if the crab cakes were homemade or not, she did lean more to the not side. She was not informative at all. Ate the Pork Belly last night it was delicious.

They told me that the Village Butcher had the best hamburger. True. I consume hamburgers with the refined palate of a burger food critic and can definitely say that this was the best hamburger in Morgantown.
Location also comes with: large window to the butcher shop to see the behind-the-scenes action, a bathroom, simplistic hipster-style décor, a selection of really nice cuts of meat for viewing in a refrigerated display counter, and a drink cooler for regular beverages.
Chips that came with the hamburger were . . . chips. The bun was toasted and the appropriate size to the burger. The meat was tasty and flavored well with salt/pepper so that the lettuce and tomato were the only needed toppings. Patty was a little thick, but my comrade that introduced me to the Village Butcher said that usually the burgers were better and not as thick. Let me emphasize that: I already am declaring this the best burger in Morgantown and my friend said that they are usually better.
Hamburger with chips was $15, so you’re paying for the nicer meat.

All of the food is amazing. One of my favorite lunch spots in Morgantown. Steak sandwich and burger are especially delicious. No TV and sometimes no music which occasionally makes it a little awkward if people aren’t talking lol.

As usual the sandwiches we ordered were excellent and we love the pasta side salad. Our favorite sandwiches are the Italian and the Mortadella. In addition their baseball medallions are wonderful to use for individual beef wellingtons for special occasions.

Fantastic every time. My husband and I have been coming here since they have opened and we’ve had almost everything on the menu. It’s all delicious and l guess they started doing specials which I’m having as I write this and it’s outstanding (Frisco Burger). The place is also an actual butcher shop. Their pork chops are thick cut but what I really want to rave about is that they did a special order prime rib for us for our family Christmas dinner and the quality was out of this world delicious. I definitely recommend this place.

Notably, I went for the butcher’s shop aspect. The ground angus I bought was fresh and delicious in the lasagna I made for my spouse for Valentine’s Day. We’ll certainly be back to try out the restaurant!

The Hamburg was excellent. Their special is a $6 burger on Mondays. The burger had a great taste and perfectly cooked. Add fries for $3 and it was the best inexpensive lunch I have had in a long time.

Great looking cuts of pork and beef. The fillets I bought and ate last night were excellent, no sauces or seasonings necessary. I’m definitely making this my getting spot for stakes. This is the only stand alone butcher shop in town. I’ve also been told to try the burgers here, that are only available on Mondays in a limited quantity! You can tell the guy behind the counter definitely knows what he’s doing, he has that quietly confident persona about him, very respectful.

We recently went to the Village for a bite to eat. I got the steak sandwich and my wife got the Turkey. Both were excellent! The side of pasta salad was decent but the sandwich was well worth it. The drink options were a bit limited. But acceptable.
As their official name might imply they also sell cuts of meat. Around the shop are also other items like loaves of bread of varying varieties, some produce, eggs, sauces, water, and soda.
Tldr; great sandwiches. I recommend it!
