We were expecting a little more….we have been to many supper clubs and this one lacked. The bartender had no interest whatsoever and our dinner service felt rushed. The prime rib was ok. It is out in the middle of nowhere so probably great for locals but if you are staying in Galena it is a farmland drive.

Old school supper club feel here. There can be a wait if you don’t make a reservation. We love to go on Saturday for their prime rib dinner. Largest one they have is 40oz and it will feed you for a couple of days. Drink are good as well, We always get old fashions and are rarely disappointed.

For how packed the place was the service was spot on. They would move you in and move you out without feeling rushed. The food was beyond the best we’ve ever had. My husband tried the prime rib, our son had sirloin steak and lobster, and I tried the Friday fish fry. Portion size is exactly what 1 person needs. For the 3 of us, with our food and drinks our bill was the perfect amount to treat yourself and your family after a long week!

Wow! Talk about prompt! Our table was ready immediately at reservation time. Our server was prompt and polite, but she was young and doesn’t yet understand service ends when we leave, not when the bill is delivered. Food was great and the baked potato was good, when so many are wet and gross since COVID. Will be back!

The Village bar is your quintessential Wisconsin Supper Club. When you walk in, if there’s time, I recommend having a drink at the bar first. If you’re lucky the bartender will tell you a little bit about the history of the establishment. From there you’ll go into the relatively small dining area, but begin your meal with a typical relish tray. The menu is comprehensive, fair priced, and absolutely delicious. Everything I’ve ever had here is so good!
