This little bake shop is tucked in a strip mall and easy to overlook. But you will miss some amazing bakery items. The cinnamon roll is huge, with a crispy outside and light and fluffy inside. We also had the chocolate cake with coconut and it was like an Almond Joy bar. They make custom cakes from scratch too. Great front door parking and friendly people.

Its tough to write this but I feel it needs to be said. I asked for a custom cake to be made for my little sisters birthday. This was on Wednesday and I needed it Saturday. Well the snow happened and I assumed they would not open. I did send an email and was told to text to get a faster response as Sunday might have been an option to meet and pickup. So I text Sunday morning asking if its possible to meet and pickup the cake. No response just ghosted. I would rather you just tell me you did not make the cake. However this seems to be a common theme of just ruining special events for people due to horrible communication. Baked goods are delicious but not a good way to run a business.

I’m so thankful you do special orders as I was flying in from out of state and I was able to pick up the cakes for her birthday celebration. Everyone loved them! I ordered cookies to be delivered 2/7/25 and 12/20/25. Neither shipment got to me, 45 minutes from the store. I am out $65.95 and $143.38. I have made several call to the bakery and spoken to people answering their phone. Manager told the front desk girl to tell me my order was refunded and it has not been. Over $200 in cookies never received. No refund! I’m not sure why this place is so busy that they cannot take care of their customers. I am taking them to court if I need to.

They did an amazing job on my daughter’s sweet 16 cake. (The cake was marble with cool whip icing, we also got 18 cupcakes). Everyone was complimenting on how cute the cake was and how delicious it tasted. Thank you so much for making her cake perfect, we all loved it. The cake maker (Brandi) was very nice and was very responsive to my questions.

Over 80 dollars for the wrong things is ridiculous. If I could give them a zero I would. This is the second year they have messed up my cake. The cake is clearly not red and black and is instead a peach and charcoal. At pick up she blamed the type of icing if you can’t get the correct color because of icing disclose that when I order and offer a solution or ask if I want a different color or icing. Or before I pick up the cake. Pickup was scheduled at 12 and wasn’t ready after until way after 2. I ordered strawberry filling which is no where to be found. On top of that the cake is dry and flavorless. Not to mention I was charged for cherries that are no where to be found. The red ribbon which is the wrong color compared to the inspo pick makes it more obvious the cake isn’t red. The cake is the ugliest shade of peach. The picture is also too small. Safe to say we will not be giving them a third chance they’ve really fell off since they switched owners which is a shame we truly used to enjoy shopping with the village.

I am very disappointed with this bakery! My family has patronized this place since I was a little girl,with that being said my son and now daughter n law placed a order for wedding cake and cupcakes 2weeks prior to their wedding mind you and also paid for them already,the pickup was the day of the wedding at 9am that morning when they arrived the girl acted like she didn’t know of the order so they showed a receipt and she said she would call manager to come in and help because nothing had been started,the wedding was at 3pm several trips was made and still not finished the girl working seemed rude and of course no one showed up to help.Another family member had to make the last min.trip to get these,this was very inconvenient for the crowd and we will never use them again nor will we recommend this place because this was a very special event and the owner didn’t even show up to help this girl and she was the only one there working..shame and embarrassment to us because we spoke highly of this place and was totally let down,let me also add that the girl tried to have my daughter n law change her design because of their mistake of running behind and the cake was suppose to be mint green and it was teal.Never did they offer to make it up to them because if this place it was a totally rush and panic right before the wedding

I called to get a cake for my grandson with Charizard on top. I had less than a 24-hour notice and called them in a panic. I had been turned down by 2 other bakeries already. The lady was so kind and accommodating and said she could have it ready for me. The cake was vanilla with cream cheese icing-all the kids and adults said it was delicious! Village Bake Shop saved the day!

Amazing little bakery! The ladies who own, and work it are always so helpful and friendly! We have been going here for years..have tried almost every treat available..thumbprint cookies, and glazed donuts are always melt in your mouth perfect! My daughter looks forward to a cake from here for her birthday…they do an awesome job…last cake was a simple strawberry, pink rose cake..it was fantastic!!..she loved it…as did our cat, who sat on the box as soon as I set it down and turned away ..still held up very nice and tasted delicious!!
