Perfecto . We were hunting that place that’s not your average tourist spot. We wanted « comida casera ». It was delicious and not over priced like the rest of the city. Good atmosphere and very nice people. Good service. Good people.

Such a delight. Villafuerte is pretty much the definition of a hole in the wall. Unassuming, no frills, menus with tape for updated prices, hand written signage on the walls.

Everything was really really good. Tostones, pupusas, rice it was all great. The yucca frita was no joke the best I’ve ever had– and second place isn’t even close.

Go there, play some pool, drink some beer, eat great food and tip them really well

I am glad I found this hidden gem of a restaurant when I first came to visit Little Havana. This is a bit inside of the neighborhood, not in the main street, so it’s difficult to find. But everything in the place tastes heavenly. We were a big group, and each of us ordered different items from the menu. So, we got to try out their Pupusa, Tacos, Enchiladas and Fajitas…. Every item was so good. We also tried Collada, and so far it’s the best coffee experience I’ve ever had.

I would definitely come back here, if I ever visit the Little Havana neighborhood. Recommended 100/100!

If you see this place from the outside you’d never think is a restaurant and in reality is more of a Billiard place, however the food is truly amazing, cooked by latins and it really has that latin taste that you can only obviously get from latin cook ladies. The prices are down to earth for miami. They don’t have a fixed menu and it’s awesome to get there everyday and found something completely new to eat. I am really happy with all the meals I had in there, went to eat there 3 nights in a row, unfortunately didn’t photographed everything but hey, when you’re having a good time, you forget to take photos. Will definitely come back if I ever visit Miami again.

Wow! This is a true hidden gem. I was blown away by my experience today! I’ve been in Miami for 48 hours, and I’ve visited a number of restaurants during my short time here. This restaurant had the best food I’ve eaten in Miami by far, and the yuca frita was definitely the best I’d ever had. The food was incredible, the service was efficient and kind, the music was so fun, and it had a decidedly local feel. It was refreshing to visit a spot without inflated tourist prices and pretentious vibes. I Shazammed so many songs that were blasting from the jukebox, and I added them to my dance playlist for later. They had excellent music taste— reggaeton, ballads, salsa, merengue…

Villa Fuerte appears to primarily be a pool hall/bar, but they also have absolutely delicious Salvadoran food. My partner and I are vegetarian, but we were able to find food for us on the menu. We ordered fresh passion fruit juice, rice, tostones (fried and flattened plantains), yuca frita (fried yuca), and bean and cheese pupusas with curtido (cabbage slaw) and salsa. The portions were huge, and we stayed full for hours after lunch. This feast only cost us $38. We couldn’t believe it.

If we ever come back to Miami, this will be the first place we visit.

Great place for pick up. It’s a Hispanic bar so don’t expect it to be an actual restaurant. It’s more of a hole in the wall I barely saw the restaurant sign and couldn’t get in at first. The proxies are very reasonable. We ordered the baleada, pupusa mixta and carne asada. Everything was really good. The baleadas were huge and the repollo salsa was very fresh. The carne asada was a decent portion that comes with two sides. We will definitely order take out again from here. The waitress was very nice.
