To be fair, we didn’t research this restaurant’s location enough. It was at another resort and I am not a huge fan of resort restaurants because they are always over priced and understaffed. This certainly was the case with our experience here. I chose to come here for my birthday celebration and unfortunately it was a pretty underwhelming experience. Again, more research should have been done. Our drinks took longer than expected as well as our main entrees. I would say it was busy however the dining room wasn’t even halfway full. I really wish that restaurants wouldn’t rotate their servers. If you had a management team that properly planned out sections to match reservations then you wouldn’t have servers who are inattentive because they are running all over the restaurant to serve their tables. We would not eat here again however if you are staying at this resort it is fine.

Villa Italiano Chophouse: A Hidden Gem After SeaWorld
Knackered after a long day at SeaWorld, we stumbled upon this proper Italian spot tucked away in Westgate Vacation Villas. What a find! The margherita pizza had that perfect char on the crust with proper fresh basil reminded me of the pizzas back in Naples. The calamari was spot on crispy with a nice kick from those jalapeños. Their ravioli in that creamy sauce was pure comfort food, and those massive meatballs with the spaghetti? Properly done, mate.
Everything was well priced, considering the portion sizes. The service was relaxed but attentive, just what you need after running around theme parks all day. If you’re in the area and fancy some decent Italian grub without breaking the bank, this place hits the spot. Nothing fancy, just good honest cooking that’ll sort you right out.

A place of beaty with service and taste that matches its lovely atmosphere. The hosts and servers were great and helpful, and the food was perfectly prepared fast. The portions of the food were very large. The drinks were beautifully and deliciously crafted. For the quality and beauty, this place was very reasonably priced, and we loved that they gave three spread options with the bread plate.

Villa Italiano does everything right. The food was absolutely amazing. From appetizers to entrées and even the dessert, everything was fresh and tasted incredible. Also, the wine list was very nice and we found a perfect pairing.
The wait staff was clearly well-trained, inquiring about food allergies and dietary restrictions. No one rushed us or cleared plates too early, always asking first and waited for everyone at the table to be done first. It was a very pleasant experience.

The service was average. While the food was well-presented, it lacked flavor, which is somewhat expected at a resort. However, the drinks were well-balanced, which was a pleasant surprise.

The pesto bucatni was bland and the noodles were over cooked for $31. The service was great. My husband has the Alfredo and it was good. Way better than the pesto pasta dish. The restaurant is clean although the water has a funny taste to it, maybe it’s because it’s located at a resort with a water park.

Villa Italiano Chophouse is situated within a Vacation Villa complex, but anyone can go have a meal there. The layout and decor is beautiful, very modern and classy yet somehow it feels homely and familiar…they’ve hit the perfect balance with their interior design. We were looked after by Kenya during our visit and the service was fantastic, extremely friendly yet still retaining the professionalism they obviously take great pride in delivering. The food then…firstly an open kitchen is always a plus for us, it shows integrity and confidence. It appears spotless and very calm in the kitchen and the food was 5 star quality. We had bruschetta and complimentary warm breads with dipping oils to start and loved them. The tomatoes on the bruschetta were delicious, very fresh tasting and full of flavour. For entrees we shared a calabrese pizza, my fiancé had the spaghetti carbonara and I had rigatoni bolognese but swapped the rigatoni for spaghetti. The pastas were the best I have ever had from an Italian restaurant, no competition. They were perfectly cooked, it’s that simple. The pizza was very nice, but a specialised pizza restaurant would make nicer – however it really was a good offering. No dessert, sadly we were too full and we only had the bistro portions so value for money is great aswell! The only downside is that they had ran out of Peroni on draught, but I chose Corona as an alternative and it’s great aswell so not a problem and can’t be held against the restaurant as it’s a popular beer! All in all, we will absolutely return to try other pasta dishes, it really is that good! It wasn’t extremely busy and would be interesting to see if their very high standards are maintained when the restaurant is full, but I’m confident they would be.

Always a great time at Villa Italiano Chophouse! Superb food, great atmosphere, and never service that is less than perfect. The vibe is great, whether you dine inside or out, and this time we were outside (the weather was lovely).

Great experience! My friend and I made reservations to celebrate my birthday and we had a great time from start to finish. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Our server, Porscha was fabulous! She made great suggestions, was extremely friendly, and knowledgeable. The food was incredible! Highly recommend the burrata appetizer and short rib tortellini bolognese. My friend got the carbonara and said it was one of the best she’s had. Thank you for a great experience.

Walked in on a Saturday night, no reservation so we were prepared to wait ( party of 2 adults and a 1 child who is in their terrible twos) but we were seated rather quickly. Our waitress Gracie from the very beginning was on top of everything. She always came by and asked us if we needed anything and was super pleasant. Our child kept coming after my beverage and she offered to get him a strawberry lemonade so that the color of his drink would match mine and he did indeed finally leave my drink alone. Super thankful we had her as our waitress. Staff was nice, atmosphere was welcoming and the food was delicious. One thing I did notice and liked was that the manager (I’m pretty sure she was the manager) was actually on the floor helping to get tables cleaned up and working along side her staff. I think a lot of times managers don’t go to that extent so it was nice. Would definitely come here again.
