Have been there once. We loved it so we ordered today for Valentines Day to have a real dinner at home since I have Covid. It was phenominal just as we remembered. Good size portions and so good! Definitely revommend!

I can’t complain about the food. The pasta was fresh and tasted good.
We went on a Wednesday (midweek) and it seemed like nobody had to work the next day.
The service was incredibly slow.
So if you’re going to eat there, I’d recommend arriving an hour before you plan to eat. If you’re really hungry, this isn’t the place for you; you’ll wait a long time for everything. I guarantee you’ll even have to wait to pay the bill.
Aside from that, the place is generally fine.

The food was great, I ordered the shrimp scampi about a week ago and it was outstanding. The dinner was very tasty, it was definitely cooked well, wasn’t dry at all. The service was very good, the redhead girl at the counter was nice and very helpful. This restaurant has a homey feeling to it, seems the workers are quite diligent. I would most definitely recommend this place to my family and friends.

The service staff was very friendly, atmosphere was cool. I ordered a pizza pie from them couple of weeks ago and I wasn’t very pleased. It was too many clumps of cheese in my pizza. I’m sorry maybe I’ll give them another shot.

Pizza was good. Dinners were not. 3 dinners ordered, salad only came for one of us. Waitress never came to ask about this until food came. Chicken Francais was tough and just not good. Breaded chicken seemed like frozen reheated chicken.

Ordered a 6 foot sub for my mother’s birthday party. It was absolutely delicious. They had it ready to go. Thank you!

Had a couple of slices from Villa Italia yesterday , 5/18/24. The white pie spinach slice was excellent, the pepperoni slice was pretty good. Very good crust.
Friendly guy behind the counter. We’ll stop in again!

I stayed in the Newburgh area for two nights to attend a convention. I passed Villa Italia on my way back to Newburgh KOA. I decided to stop for takeout pizza. I ordered a six slice meat lovers. Absolutely delicious. I waited only 15 minutes. It was fresh, hot and very appetizing. The staff was courteous. I encourage you to go out of your way for this one.

Face palm … crossing this place off the list for delivery (I called and ordered- not a delivery site) – typically get Joe’s for pizza and always on point! But they’re closed Sunday – figured give villa italia a try after a busy day and not wanting to cook or go back out after work. Not happy.

I was in town briefly and craved a quick “couple of slices” for lunch, hoping for a taste of the real New York pizza I’ve missed for decades since moving south of the Mason- Dixon Line. By the time I had left, I was happy to say “yes” for a 3rd slice!
The suburbs of the city as well as parts of New Jersey and Connecticut also commonly offer this kind of pizza but go outside of it into truly upstate New York or into New England or south of the Mason-Dixon line or out to the Midwest and you’ll find that something is getting lost in the translation.
I was blown away by the delicious taste: the perfect amount and quality of cheese, dough and sauce and the pepperoni was great too. I liked the classy but casual atmosphere (with waiter)with just enough lunch folks present to realize that it’s popular place without being overrun . It has a spacious dining room and friendly service. Next time I will stop by another time to try their other Italian offerings.
