I had such a wonderful experience at Villa Diner! The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. My waitress, Kaitlin, was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The host staff was also incredibly friendly — on our second visit, the host even gave my daughter a lollipop, which absolutely made her day!
I enjoyed it so much that I came back the next day with my sister and daughter before heading back home out of state. Villa Diner has a welcoming atmosphere, great service, and food that keeps you coming back. Highly recommend!

Never actually ate here, However I have picked up several orders for doordash and I must say every time the food smells amazing and the prices for the amount of food is not bad at all. Considering how often I have picked up orders here they must be doing something right. I definitely plan to stop in and give them a try!

This diner is a gem! Our server was wonderful and kept our coffee cups full. They were also very accommodating when I asked for just berries instead of mixed fruit. The crepes were delicious and my egg whites were perfect. The toast was nice and crunchy and bacon super crisp as I ordered it. Our server actually listened to how we wanted our food. We were on vacation but if I lived here this would be my go to breakfast place. Everything tasted like it was made from scratch and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend! Two high snaps and a thumbs up!

I’ve been here many times, this is easily the best, most hospitable breakfast place in Charlottesville. Definitely get there early on the weekends because everyone loves this place, so there is usually a short wait. Even with a wait, they’re so quick in every aspect of their service. Anytime friends or family visit, we always make sure to bring them by here.

Love Villa sm! I eat it faithfully it’s always fresh and tasty! I’ve never had any issues getting food from here ever. Service is always good they are usually super crowded on Saturday mornings into the afternoon Sunday’s sometimes too but definitely worth it! Their lunch items are just as good as the breakfast always 10/10. Almost forgot they are super affordable too for what you’re getting definitely beats a lot of other places in the area!

I really wanted to give this restaurant a high review. We were in the area for a medical appointment, and the existing views and pictures made this place look great.
We headed over craving some delicious breakfast fare, and a nice relaxing atmosphere.
The first impression was fine, the hostess who seated us was an extremely pleasant man. The place had a basic small town diner vibe with nothing special to set it apart from other mom and pop type eateries.
I was a bit surprised at the limited offerings on the menu. I ordered the bacon and Swiss omlette, which was a 3 egg omlette with your choice of bread/toast. and My son ordered the Super big complete breakfast which consisted of eggs, a meat choice, hash browns, bread choice, a small juice, and coffee. Our waitress was okay, not friendly, but not rude, just someone going through the motions of her daily grind.
I was dubious when our plates arrived, they were very unappealing.
My omlette was extremely dry, and my English muffin was burned on the outside, but doughy in the middle. The omlette had so much bacon in it, that salt and bacon was all you could taste, there was barely any Swiss cheese at all, and it was overcooked and rubbery.
My son had the same problem with his english muffin as I did. He said his food was okay. I ate as much of the omlette as I could manage to choke down, which was maybe a third. My son who has a big appetite did not finish his meal either. Considering that the portions were very small, that kind of sums it up.
I was sadly disappointed. Our dining experience was nothing even remotely close to the yummy homey local gem the website portrayed.
Total cost after tip $37.49! A sad waste of hard earned money.

The restaurant was completely full on a Wednesday afternoon. However, we were seated within a few minutes. Arianna was very present and sweet. Our food was adequately priced and delicious. Definitely recommend.

I’m not sure what we got would actually be considered food in a lab. Maybe the eggs. Maybe we were over stretching the location by ordering eggs Benedict but the hollandaise sauce must have come out of a stale can and we each had a whole cans worth of rancid something soaking the plate. The English muffin didn’t even resemble bread or a biscuit and had no nooks and crannies. Completely flat with a play doh consistency. This was the appearance. The taste was nauseating. We paid and left our plates.

Terrific little spot for breakfast! We stopped on a very busy Sunday morning and service was a bit slow, but the manager kept us posted on the status of our order and apologized for the delay, giving us a break on the bill which was nice. Food was tasty and delicious and I would not hesitate to stop by again the next time we are through Charlottesville
