We tried Villa Del Mar today and it was delicious! The service was great. Friendly, quick, checked on us frequently. We got the Guacamole with Ribeye Bites – wow! So good! We also got the Molcajete with Fajita meat. It was huge and also delicious. And the fajita nachos were great too. Highly recommend!

The Red Snapper was AMAZING. The spices on the fish is what made it so good. Shrimp cocktail was loaded with avocado and shrimp. The atmosphere was low key and friendly.

The food was delicious! We had the Molcajete and it was really good plus packed with lots of meat. The salsa was also a great touch.
The margaritas are a little on the sour side but definitely seem worth the price.
There is lots of seating. It’s a little bit bright inside and feels kind of like a bar vibe but I would definitely go again.

Visited for the first time over the weekend and i must say i definitely wasnt disappointed!! Me and my husband ordered caldo de mariscos it was delicious and the bread severed with it was fresh!! The salsa was really good as well! Our server was fast and polite!! Definitely will be going back and recommend this restaurant to everyone!!!

I hope the owner knows the manager on duty does not really care. We waited around 20 minutes for our queso and fries. I always order fries to keep my baby happy until the food comes. The queso was cold, not even a little warm. We ordered the Mojecate bowl to share and it took 45 minutes to an hour to receive ONE ENTREE. I had to remind the server we ordered corn tortillas and a side of veggies. The manager came to ask me what I needed? I told her I never received the veggies or the corn tortillas and our food took such a long time? She barely apologized and took the 2 items I had to remind them to bring off the bill. Her candid attitude was disappointing and the wait for our food was absolutely ridiculous. We were there almost 2 hours just for an appetizer and one entree. We will not be back, and I hope the owner knows how their new business is being run.

There are no descriptions on the menu of what is included in the food, so when I asked for shrimp tostadas, I didn’t know there would be sesame seeds on top as a garnish. I am slightly allergic to sesame. I apologized and let the waitress know that I was allergic to sesame. She asked me which part. I pointed at the seeds. I was brought back the SAME dish with new avocados, no sesame on top, but when I picked up an avocado, there was a sesame seed stuck to it. Food allergies don’t care whether or not you can SEE the allergen. I tried to eat some of the shrimp, making sure to remove any pieces that are touching sesame, but I eventually gave up and just asked for a take-home container to take it home for my dog, since my mouth was starting to itch.
If someone tells you they have an allergy, please make a whole new dish. This could have been avoided by putting descriptions of the food on the menus. I had to use google translate to even know what I was ordering, as only a few items on the menu are translated into English.

It was our first time coming here since it open , we wanted it to calm down a lil bit for the grand opening. Me and my bf came to enjoy, but the food, and wait was so long. My tacos were bare just meet & cheese, and they still came out 10 mins later than my bfs meal which was $30 alone & a lot more of a portion, it was the molcajete, and it was bland, the salsa in it was very watery like, and his ranch water wasn’t good either. We were really excited to try this restaurant, maybe another chance in the future will have a different opinion.

This has got to be one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. 1. Service was absolutely horrible. They set us in the back and forgot about us. We had to get up and find someone to take our order. 2. All people in our party who ordered shrimp took one bite and immediately knew that the shrimp was spoiled. When we finally got up and had to find our server to report the spoiled food, we did not hear anything else. No manager came by to discuss anything. We had to get up and go to the front where the manager proceeded to try to argue with us stating “that’s just the Mexican spices”. They never once tried the shrimp to see if it was spoiled. This could have been handled in a much better fashion but when the management became accusatory and argumentative with the customer, communication breaks down. Not once did any staff just say, what can I do to make it right.
