I NEVER leave negative reviews, but this situation absolutely warrants one. This was only our second time ordering delivery from here. When our food arrived, an item was missing, so I called to let them know. The man who answered questioned whether I was sure, and after I explained what I received, he insisted they had made it, as if I was lying. I even suggested that maybe the driver accidentally left it in her car.
He then asked the cooks about the dessert and called the driver, who apparently said she did have it in her car and was already on her way back. That was over 45 minutes ago, and I still haven’t received anything. I called back about 20 minutes after that, and now they won’t answer the phone at all.
I’ve worked in the food industry for many years, starting in a pizzeria at 13 years old, and I would never imagine indirectly accusing a customer of lying, telling them the item is coming, and then completely ghosting them. Mistakes happen, if they had simply acknowledged it, even if they couldn’t bring it back, It would’ve been totally fine. But this level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable.
Having to tell my kids that their dessert was on the way, only for it to never show up and for the restaurant to ignore all calls, is honestly just disgusting.

My husband and I have never had a good experience here. We gave it one last try today and the dough was raw with barely any sauce or cheese. Even after the cook put it back in the oven, it was still undercooked. They rush to get food out fast and the quality suffers. With a great pizza place like Dominics in town, I don’t know how this place stays open. It’s certainly the last time we give them money.

We ordered 2 pizzas, when the pizza arrived the delivery boy was very nice and polite, when we opened the pizzas we realized one was wrong, not the pizza we ordered.
We called to correct it, the girl who answered the phone was very bubbly and nice, she was in thr middle of asking me a question when you can hear someone in the background say something in a mean tone grabbed the phone from whomever I had been speaking to.
He asked me what was wrong, whats the issue. I told him we got one wrong pizza, and he kept saying/asking be if id was a half and half pizz with certain toppings ans I kept telling the pizza had the toppings he mentioned but it was not our order, he kept insisting it was what we ordered.
He was mean, rude, impatient when he spoke, he got upset ans said to just tell me what you want so I can make the pizza, the faster you tell me what you want the faster I can fix it.
I told him what the pizza we werw missing, I told him he could be nicer because he kept asking what was on the wrong pizza, he insisted that’s what we ordered.
We ordered a plane pizza not an everything pizza.
He said he is the nicest guy around and that is is Halloween ans he does have time for this, he said have nice night and hung up.
We did get the correct pizza, but that is no way to speak to a customer, no way to run a business.

Chose to order here tonight instead of our usual place thinking it’d be a nice change. It was a huge disappointment the pizza looked like no effort was put into it at all and was..soggy? The grilled chicken was so burnt.. and we found hair in the pizza (we know didn’t belong to us). Never again.

Pizza was great, calamari was delicious. Customer service was fabulous and the dessert was a hit with the kids. The owner make sure to pay attention to detail.

Ordered light cooked crust got burnt instead, ordered Sicilian which is normally square somehow got semi round. No flavor or taste to pizza. For the price we won’t be back. Very disappointed with order.

Been living in Sussex county for almost 5 years now and after one of our favorite pizza places closed we had to venture for a new one. Villa is hands down the best pizza in Sussex county. We are originally from Morris County and have been settling for less than pizza until now. This will be our go to place from now on.

Hunting Pizza for the Pizza Hunters App. Had a Grandma Slice and a Regular Slice. The crust was ok, cheese and sauce average at best. Very little oil added to the grandma. Gerry had the plain slice and was not a fan. Looks like they do a good local business in Sussex County, but would not be a contender for top in NJ.

Penne vodka pizza and other specialty pizzas are always /delivered/ as a plain cheese pizza with toppings dumped on. I’ve never got a pizza like that from the other location or when I order in person.
