The restaurant is quiet and would be a great place for a date.
We had some vegetable samosas with homemade tamarind sauce. It was a sweet treat.
The sauces are made to order so they are fresh and hot. The Naan bread was a great add-on to the meal.
Overall it was a great experience with friendly staff. I will return again.

I ordered online and the food was terrible, samosas didnt appear as samosas and the butter chicken had raw chicken in it, it appeared completely pink and samosa was stale like it was there in the food stall for 2 days. Never ordering from here again.

Ordered online. Food was well prepared and warm, but the taste of the butter chicken gravy was not good. The gravy was very heavy on cardamom and not a good balance of spices at all. Could be great with a better recipe.

I had overnight guests Saturday and wanted to relax and visit with them so ordered dinner for four people and it was fantastic. Picked it up Friday at the agreed time and Greg had everything ready to go. Two kinds of curry, fabulous beet and tomato salad that I put on greens, delicious soup, with naan and a few samosas. I carefully reheated everything and everyone had plenty and declared it all delicious. I’m giving myself 5 stars for atmosphere! lol, relaxed and totally enjoyable. My go to option for sure.

This is my favourite “go to” restaurant. Greg and Willow are amazing! This is that restaurant where I always feel welcome and at home. The food is excellent and the portions generous. You choose your heat level. My biggest problem is do I choose the soup or samosa as an appetizer. It is always quiet – a perfect atmosphere! I love this place… you gotta try it!

I have been into food blogging for along time but never tasted such pathetic food. The food had no taste like no flavor at all. We asked for spicy food and all they did is added red chill powder from top and we could actually taste rawness of chilly powder. And when we gave the same feedback to the owner he gave us rude response by saying we are in business since 36 years we are no 1 and few Indians come and they say they don’t like it but we can’t please everyone and we can’t change everyone likes it. I dunno how they have survived in the business for 36 years. I have eaten a lot better Indian food in Waterloo and Kitchener area. Never going back and never suggesting to anyone.

We went to Vijay’s on a Wednesday evening. I have to say the young gentleman that took our food order was absolutely AMAZING !! Answered all our questions and was so professional and polite. The food was very delicious. The restaurant was very clean. I would definitely recommend this place.

Food from this restaurant is extremely disappointing. Chicken Jalfrezi and Chicken Tikka were the worst I’ve ever tasted—completely lacking in authenticity and flavor. This feels like an exploitation of customers’ trust in the quality of food. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This is our go-to Indian place in KW! The food is delicious and such good value for what you’re paying. We usually get the Vegetarian Feast which includes all the food in the photo for such a great price. This is an excellent local business and Vijay usually is the one to serve you and start up a conversation with his customers.
