firstly the good. great friendly and accommodating service and a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. we enjoyed our visit. generous portions of food and drinks at a reasonable price. i had the smoked pork chop which was good. the wife ordered the eggplant parm which was bready, stale and looked old and was sent back. instead she ordered a pizza, which had a great crust but with underseasoned tasteless toppings. “Every dish is made from scratch using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.” says the website and i would say that’s true for some, but not all of the menu… Perhaps we visited on the chef’s night off?

My daughter wanted to try some place new for her birthday so I sent her a few to choose from and she chose this.The atmosphere is very chill and comfortable. The wine list had some great choices as did the beer and cocktail menu. We got the fried calamari which was nice and crisp and tender. My daughter got the mozzarella sticks and the cheese stretch was perfect. My husband ordered the chicken rolletini and enjoyed it. Two chicken breast and a good amount of pasta was plenty and had leftovers. I got the fettuccine ala vigneto….it was so good. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and I had plenty for leftovers. My daughter had the carbonara. She doesn’t eat a lot but she was able to polish off quite a bit of this dish. The service was awesome (the owners?) and very welcoming. Will definitely be back again

The service was great; the host was very attentive. The food was also delicious. We ordered the cheese ravioli, ribeye steak, chicken wings, pollo portobello and eggplant rolletine. I highly recommend the cheese ravioli and the ribeye steak. For dessert we had canollini and lava cake which were pretty good as well. Everything was delicious.

We had just finished walking the walkway over the Hudson River Bridge when we found ourselves at Vigneto Cafe. Our server was very friendly and treated us as if we were regulars-though it was our first time dining there. We chose to eat here for the restaurant’s vegetarian options. Huz had the Vigneto Eggplant, and I had the Tribeca Pizza. Delicious.

The waiter was friendly and the restaurant was clean. But severely understaffed with only one waiter for a Friday night. The calamari was a good starter. We both opted for personal gourmet pizzas. My husband enjoyed his veggie personal pizza. I however did NOT GET WHAT I ORDERED. I ordered 4 cheese personal pizza, should of had mozzarella, ricotta, parmesan & gorgonzola. For whatever reason it had chunks of crumbled blue cheese. It was literally disgusting and inedible. The blue cheese was so strong it took over the entire flavor of the pizza. Our waiter not once came back to refill our drinks or ask us how we were doing or if we liked the food. A lady came by to clear our dishes and asked if I we needed a takeout container since I only ate one slice of my pizza. I then told her nicely that it was not what I ordered and that it was inedible. She cleared the dishes and never came back. The waiter finally appeared at our table with the check which is sad because we were going to order tiramisu for dessert. We just paid the bill and left. We have dined there before and always enjoyed the meal. I don’t think we will ever go back.

Enjoyed an early evening, birthday dinner with my amazing, beautiful bride .
Arriving early was the best idea, as we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. We both decided to have the Pasta Amore’ consisting of lobster, scallops and shrimp, in a light cream sauce over homemade pasta….we came home with enough for two more meals !!
Such a great Sunday afternoon….

So in walks a party of ten without a reservation. What happens? They accommodate us ❣️ With one server, Jay, and tables inside and outside we still received fantastic service❣️ Jay didn’t break a sweat working his way through all the patrons of the restaurant. His personality and attitude are perfectly matched for the hospitality industry ✅
