Amazing, traditional cafe and restaurant. I expect the food would be much better once you new what they did well. But, the overall experience – lots of locals, lots of music – accordian plus singing (mostly Edith Piaf when we went). If you can speak a little french it helps!!

One of the most incredible evenings I’ve had in Paris. I came with my mother, who is a vegetarian, and they prepared a special dish just for her. The food was excellent. We were there on a Tuesday and were treated to a spectacular performance featuring the songs of Édith Piaf. The staff was lovely, the atmosphere warm and familial, and it truly felt as though a bond formed between everyone dining there. It was genuinely an exceptional evening. Thank you!

A unique Parisian experience! Tuesday night was Edith Piaf night. We ate, drank and sang to Edith Piaf. The staff were amazing! Only two people and managed to serve the entire restaurant and make genuine interaction with guests. We had Duck Breast and Pasta. Very tasty and cooked perfectly.

What an entertaining dining experience this was! We were made to feel welcome as soon as we entered and it wasn’t long before we made friends with other diners. Very cosy and wow , what entertainment! If you want the Parisian experience of yesterday, then this is the place to be! Magical!

Disappointing experience overall. The meal was served slightly cold, which already took away from the experience. Unfortunately, the bigger issue was the billing. After leaving, I realized the final charge was higher than it should have been. The difference was small enough to be easily missed, but that doesn’t excuse it. Scamming people, even in subtle ways, is completely unacceptable. Customers should be able to trust that they are charged the correct amount without having to watch for tricks. Because of this experience, we will not return.

Loved our evening at Vieux Belleville. We wanted to visit since I’d heard about the Edith Piaf song night four years ago. Only Tuesday nights. Last May 2023 was the first time we were in Paris on a Tuesday night. It was wonderful. So much fun.

One of the highlights of our trip. This place is a hoot! We laughed, sang along, made new friends, enjoyed good food. Be sure to check the website and reserve in advance for the nights with accordion music (we went on Saturday at 830pm.)

Wonderful place for lunch! We walked past this restaurant after visiting Parc de Belleville and it looked great. I had a braised rabbit dish with mustard, rice and vegetables and my friend had a prawn salad. For dessert we shared the creme brûlée and it was delicious! I look forward to coming back on my next trip to Paris.
