Everything was delicious and satisfying without feeling too heavy (finding it difficult to describe). Loved the herbs, spices, and veggies in the dishes. And the serving time was quick. Definitely a good place to have Vietnamese food.
I also highly recommend the Gỏi Cuốn (Spring Rolls). They are wonderfully light, and the hint of mint inside provides such a fresh profile. The trio of condiments on the side is a great touch for fine-tuning the Pho’s flavor. To finish, the Guava Tea with bits of ripe pink guava and slices of green guava was the perfect refreshing palate cleanser. Cool vibes, great food, and a perfect refuge from the sun!
Food was affordable for the portion served
Pho was delicious although I noticed that it was served without cilantro or mint (resto could be appealing to the Filipino taste bud like my mom). My mom liked it more because cilantro and mint weren’t mixed in the soup. THOUGH I hope there is an option to have it added for those (me!!) who like the strong flavor.
The combo meal portion is a brilliant idea for those who do not know what to order or simply want to taste it all. Portion is enough to make you full!
Banh Mi wasn’t at par with the Hanoi-street-food taste and quality but it was good enough. First time to see Banh Mi served with pork floss on top???
Coconut Coffee can be improved. I think the milk used was quite overpowering, so I wasn’t able to taste the coconut as much. It was still a 7/10 though. Good enough for sweet coffee lovers who want something different.
AND OF COURSE THE BUN THIT!!! My fave Vietnamese dish and what I often order in Vietnamese restaurants. The sauce tasted different but suited the dish well. The fried pork portion can be improved, it should be the star of the dish. Serve a few bigger pieces rather than lots of tiny little bites which were unnoticeable. The fried pork tasted good though, I assume it was the same one used for the pork banh mi. Or at least the marinade. Also, please add more peanuts to give it the crunch it deserves!!! I’d rate it an 8/10.
Staff were shy, quiet, but very attentive and polite.
Overall, enjoyed our visit and cleaned our plates to the point that the staff wouldn’t need to clean it LOL. Really good. Worth trying. It’s a restaurant worth bringing friends over. Already thinking of the the next time I can visit.
+ Kind and smiling staff
+ Fast serving
+ Nice ambience
+ Good presentation of the product
+ Price, quality to quantity is only ok
+ İ ordered passion fruit tea, it was nice and the “Ga Nurong” grilled chicken with lemon gras. The taste was good but…
+ *Update* I was second time there and had the Banh Mi in overload and hot spiced upgrade. The chicken meat and bread was tasty the sauce spicey. 2 big pieces. I had also the Thai cha, it was not my taste
– The aircon is very cold
– The portions especially the meat was very less compared to the rice. The portion of rice was big but we go not in a restaurant to enjoy the big rice (that we could cook at home) right?
– I see more and more that the drinks especially Calamansi juice, ice tea varieties are becoming really expensive than soft drinks, 100 php for a syrup drink is unreasonable
– The selection is not big but even that, they can not serve all foods especially the combo menus. We have no weekend, it was late afternoon and the restaurant was not full, very weak organization…
