I pick up banh mi from this place located across from Mei Mei in the Maunakea Marketplace when I’m in the area and feel the need for a Vietnamese sandwich. Each sandwich is made to order so it does take some time to get your banh mi. I usually order the “Special” Banh Mi … It’s a little different from other places in that I don’t taste pate. However, it’s a very good banh mi and is priced, at $11, less than banh mi from other places we frequent.
As the name suggests, they offer pho, but I’ve never ordered anything but a banh mi. Recommended!

I was just looking for a place that takes credit cards, as a lot of the places here seemed to say cash only. I remembered Vietnamese sandwiches from when I lived in San Francisco, so I got one here (steamed pork) and paid with card. It was a good lunch and the spices lingered on my tongue and lips for a while.

I got the steamed pork banh mi for $10. The bread was wonderfully crunchy and fluffy. It was packed with veggies and meat. The pate was really amazing. Definitely give them a try! They take credit cards (unsure what the minimum might be) but I’m sure they’d prefer cash.

It to long to make one order of sandwich. The server was friendly.
