This restaurant is run by a very sweet older couple and the food is amazing. I got a full bowl with beef, egg rolls, noodles, and veggies for only $10 which is an incredible deal. The owner even brought me tea, which was such a kind touch. The area around it isn’t the nicest, but the restaurant itself is great. Come support your local grandma and grandpa!

The food was fantastic. They started us with hot tea, which was wonderful after the dreary drizzle.
They had the Lakers on in the background at a pretty loud level, which was my only complaint.
The meal cost $30 for 2 people after tax.
It was a great experience and I expect to return.

This place is as old school as they come. Tables of older guys drinking beer and playing dominoes, gaggles of women gossiping no doubt about each others family members and the smell of cigarettes wafting in the air every time the front doors opened..but all of that just adds to the flair of absolutely authentic Vietnamese food. What an absolute treat! All carefully made to order. All freshly served with ample portions and the best part….IT WAS CHEAP!!!!! If you’re looking for a hidden gem, this is definitely the place!

This restaurant is amazing! The food is very good, especially their rice plates (the chicken and green bean plate is so so so amazing). And there was good options for vegetarians too! The restaurant is also run by elderlies who are very sweet and the price is so good!! 🙂 The only downside of this restaurant is the area, but if you come from the west, it’s only 2 blocks of a slightly sketchier area. Overall, I am definitely coming back! I went on a Saturday night when there was two groups of older men playing a game and laughing, and it made for a very nice atmosphere. I strongly recommend this place!!

One of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants around this area – main reason is how cheap it is for a decent size meal and decent taste!
The servers are elderlies, a bit slow, but overall very nice people.

I went to lunch with my coworkers the other day. The restaurant was pretty empty, so I was a bit worried. I ordered #45: chicken with egg rolls and rice vermicelli. I also ordered a Thai iced tea.
I enjoyed my meal. The veggies were fresh, and the egg rolls were fried perfectly. And my total was around $10, so it’s a really good deal.
The location is in a sketchy area (which is why it was empty), but if you can brave the walk, you’ll find this place to have some good food.

Spring roll, eggroll …..are so good, real Vietnamese. Com Thit Nuong is tasty, except the rice( maybe the rice just cooked..)
