Having had my fair share of traveling and being a big fan of Vietnamese food and especially Pho I must say this is at the top of my list. Been back here at least 10x since first trying this beautiful place. Prices are perfect and ingredients are as fresh as you can get. And whoever is in the kitchen making the food knows exactly what they are doing! Visited a few nights ago, 3 of us including myself..the place was BURST, which is usually a good sign of good food..we decided to sit, we ordered the food came extremely fast for somewhere that was FULL, the food was HOT and TASTY..we had pho, wings and a few drinks. Everything was plentiful and tasty. The staff was more than helpful explaining what the pho consists of and the type of beef it has. Would recommend!

The fact that others in the comments have said it is not better than the other two in Panama Is laughable and just confirms my theory that most people have no business reviewing restaurants. This is exceptional for Panama and not far off from the real thing. I’d like to ask how many reviewers have ever been to Vietnam ? Or are they reviewing it based on what they think Pho is, in Panama or USA ? Calling out Panama George, 100s of reviews and quite clueless. If you want to be safe here stick to the Pho and the Shrimp rice rolls or the fried spring roll, they are top notch, sautéed vegetables are good tooo

One of my favorite places for asian food. The fresh shrimp rolls and the pho are excellent. Service is too! I’d definitely recommend the pork ribs in coconut milk, I never thought this could work out so well. Places like this are an example of why fancy and expensive don’t need to be a must in great food. A cab is preferable, parking lots are a nightmare in that little mall.

I ordered via pedidosya. The food wasn’t good, the summer rolls had an alcoholic taste to them like the vegetables were fermented or sth. The pho came with a mandarin orange which makes no sense. It should be served with lime. Disappointing.

This is one of the top three Vietnamese restaurants in the city. Although it has the fewest reviews of the three, it has the highest score which puts it in the top spot. I do not agree with the rank, as I was disappointed with a few things.
The pho soup (sopa con fideos de arroz y carne de res media cocida) was was not better than the other two Vietnamese restaurants I have reviewed. The broth was too thin and lacked traditional flavor. The waitress forgot to give me the side dish of bean sprouts. So when I asked her for them, she quickly brought me a small improvised amount that tasted terribly earthy. It looked nothing like the dish of fully fresh bean sprouts that the table next to me received.
Relieved that this place serves the summer rolls (rollitos de camarones) with peanut sauce as opposed to hoisin or similar sauces. Though, like the pho soup, they were not better than the other two restaurants.
The banh mi sandwich had thick slices of ground pork as well as thin slices of whole pork. It was alright though I will never order it again. One thing that bothered me was how uncomfortably stuffy the interior was. They really need to turn the kitchen fan on to expel the heavy smell.
An advantage of this place is the location. The surrounding area is full of economic activity. Within walking distance are popular bakeries, iconic restaurants, hair stylists, franchises and all types of grocery stores. Due to the nature of the majority of businesses, this area is nicknamed the second Chinatown. Right across the street is the city’s first indoor mall.
I keep having to reassert that these Vietnamese restaurants cannot compete against the best that NYC has to offer. But I try to be fair because these restaurants have not been in this country for more than a decade.
In conclusion, I will not return for pho soup, summer rolls or banh mi. Instead, I will go for the other traditional dishes that taste delicious such as salted spinach with garlic (espinaca de agua salteado con ajo), rice dishes, and cold coffee.

Good service and Mango -Prawn salad was great. Pho had nice broth and enough coriander/cilantro but no basil, but had onions like another nearby place which is slightly better (for Pho) does. The Pho here is good and they will serve the beef near raw if you ask, but they don’t serve with Hoisin Sauce or Siracha or the chunky hot chili sauce some places have…instead they have something possibly home made or another brand which is hot but a different flavour.
I’d probably say a 7/10 for the pho, since most of us Pho addicts only come for the pho. Whoops, took a pic of the pho when it was nearly finished, but it was good.
