Excellent Vietnamese food. Service was super friendly and we couldn’t have asked for a nicer team and lovely food. We attended with our toddler and they took great care of us. Nice loft space outside with a breeze and the food was excellent – perfectly grilled pork

I really love Vietnamese food, and this was my first time trying bánh mì at this restaurant. It did not disappoint! The crispy pork was especially delicious – super flavorful and perfectly crunchy. The bread was fresh and crispy too, which made the whole bite so satisfying.

With QUT student discount, it was only $4 – such great value! There are plenty of tables, so it’s a nice spot to sit down and enjoy your food comfortably.

The flavours took us straight back to Vietnam. Loved our meals. And they gave us complimentary desserts, which were also delicious. Highly recommend!

This is the best new restaurant in Kelvin Grove. Very friendly and helpful staff. They have a special supply of hot chilli’s if you are inclined. Great menu selection, many new authentic meals. I’m looking forward to trying all offerings and get to know the friendly owners and staff. Very popular with locals.

This restaurant was my favorite two years ago, and everything was excellent. However, dinner tonight was downright disrespectful and subpar.

**Service (why I gave it 1 star)**
When I went to order, I asked a male server about substituting beef for chicken as a choice of meat for “Bun Bo Hue.” Yes, I know traditionally “Bun Bo Hue” is beef, but I simply asked if switching was possible since my partner has a beef intolerance.

To which the male server turned to a female server and asked her if switching was possible. She grunted in disgust and made a remark in Vietnamese to her coworker, calling me a “biến thái,” which pretty much translates to “pervert” in English. LIKE What did I do to warrant such a disrespectful response? I was simply asking if switching a source of protein was possible.

Whilst, the male server did give her a nudge because he knew was Vietnamese. Like If I didn’t understand the language so what? Did is she just cursed at me because she assumed that I didn’t understand what she was saying JUST BECAUSE SHE CAN???????I can’t even imagine the amount of disrespect that lady has gotten away with from just cursing someone else out in a language that they don’t understand.

I should’ve walked away then and there, but I gave the restaurant the benefit of the doubt. Maybe the servers were just having a bad day, so I ordered anyway despite the remark since they used to be my favorite. (I was wrong.)

**Food (why I gave it 2 stars)**
I ended up getting my partner “Pho Ga (chicken Pho)” and I ordered “Com Suon (pork brisket rice)” with two fresh pork and prawn spring rolls.

Well, the portion for the chicken Pho was disappointing, but the taste was normal; I wouldn’t say too much about it. However, the pork brisket was… raw. Just look at the photo below.

I left half of the fresh spring rolls uneaten. I would not recommend them based on my personal opinion.

Overall, I would not go here again after tonight. While this may just be my opinion, when a customer comes into the restaurant and treats YOU with respect and asks a simple question, they deserve the same respect in return—not to be cursed at.

Very disappointing service, and in my opinion, go here at your own risk.

(The male server was good though, he did offer to replace the rice dish but I lost my appetite at that point. He’s chill)

Very authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The boss here knows good service and makes you feel like you’re eating at family. Very charming atmosphere and prices are very reasonable.

One of the first places where I got rare beef pho and actually got rare beef which was actually rare. Highly recommend.

Not very good…. The pork was very salty… The salad dressing for the Vietnamese salad lacked flavour, and the curry was very average. Very disappointed
