The service landed right in the middle. Not rude, not warm, just there. Considering the restaurant was completely empty during my visit, I expected a bit more attentiveness and energy.
The atmosphere didn’t help much. An empty dining room can feel peaceful, but this one felt more lifeless than calm. A little music or engagement could have made the space feel more inviting.
Overall, the experience wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t memorable either. With better seasoning, more intentional service, and a livelier atmosphere, this place could easily step up. For now, it’s just okay. Try it for yourself.
The food itself was bland, and my order was prepared incorrectly despite clearly requesting no vegetables. When the dish arrived with vegetables, the server seemed visibly annoyed that I asked for it to be corrected. After the corrected plate was brought out, we did not see the server again and had to wait an extended period before finally getting the owner’s attention.
Throughout the evening, the owner repeatedly walked past our table without acknowledgment. When we were finally able to ask for the check and a to-go box, she approached us with a visible sigh, as though our request was an inconvenience. After paying, we thanked her three separate times and even wished her a great night, yet she never responded. The lack of basic courtesy and professionalism was extremely disappointing.
Additionally, the atmosphere was not warm or welcoming. There was no background music, making it easy to overhear private conversations from nearby tables, including a very sensitive discussion happening across from us. This made the dining experience uncomfortable.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant. Customer service, attentiveness, and overall hospitality need significant improvement. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously, as no guest should feel unwelcome or disregarded when dining out.
Food came in promptly in 15 mins or less. Started with the Crab Rangoon, the filling is very savory and less on the sweet side which is my favorite kind. Super crispy and fresh out of the fryer. My Bun Thit Nuong had a decent portion and the grilled pork that was on top was wonderful! Marinated and grilled excellently and not dry whatsoever. Husband had the Spicy Jun Noodle and was bright with sweet and sour notes. A small criticism for me was the rice noodles were just a little overcooked and on the softer side, thankfully not mushy!
Tom Yum Goong was sour and refreshing after the meal. Bonus point CK is the Khao Soi. Broth was on the runny side, but nicely creamy and spicy. Will come back here again. Delicious.
There’s lots of options as far as meat eater, pescatarian, vegan. Lots of options. I enjoy the tofu a lot. The Khao Soi is my favorite thing on the menu, so good.
The service is always very friendly, you have a good view of the kitchen, and it’s nice to see a clean working space.
Definitely recommend!
Nice, quiet prompt service, with a very pleasant family oriented environment.
This is a family owned restaurant and it’s very visible that they care for their patrons.
The food is priced well and incredibly DELICIOUS
